We went there primarily because of our kids ... And the aircon! It was a hot day. :). There were a good selection of pizza, pasta dishes. But the food was average quality. Avoid the salads, rather bland, cause they did not have enough sauce and consisted of only lettuce with cheese sprinkled on top. The fried calamari and onion rings were good and my son enjoyed it.

There are not many eating options in Segamat but this is one of the better ones. It's easy to find and there's reasonable sitting and parking. We ordered lemongrass chicken, vegetables, fillet fish, vegetables, sweet and sour pork, sambal sotong. Chicken was a little bony but the sambal sotong had nice crispy anchovies.
I wouldn't travel to Segamat to eat here but if you are already in Segamat and there's a lack of eating options, then do try this place.

This place is convenient in location, easy to find parking. However only part of the shop is air conditioned and could be quite hot in the afternoon. Sell standard coffee shop food and drink with options of noodles , rice, roti canai, toast and some other snacks. Price is a bit high but if you would like a cafe setting rather than kopitiam, this is the right place.

Ran through Al Mighty Google and visited the restaurant back then last year 2014. Was blown away by the freshness and size of the premise.
However, recent revisit brought in slight degrade in the food quality and slight increase in the price.
Good place with good ambiance and services.
However Segamat has more than one restaurant. Will explore others.
Recommended for those not that adventurous and willing to pay for the aircon and good service.

Soon Seng House Cafe is an old provision shop that transformed into a new cafe. Retaining the memorable local elements. A modern cafe with vintage feel. A relaxing spot full of love and passion. A place where you can feel home.
My friend bring me to her hometown to have Xmas dinner with her family. This is not my first time to visit this cafe. I like the unique interior decoration. But I think there is a very big space to improve for the menu design. This is the first thing thats visitor will look at after they enter the cafe. The food are not bad, the xmas chicken (not turkey) is nice. The waffle is always up to the standard. Will visit again if

Located near the old Segamat town near the wet market, Nan Yang Coffee shop had been here for few generations.
Still keeping its traditional value and serving good old Malaysian kopitiam style breakfast it's always packed with customers. Must have the kaya toast, nasi lemak bungkus and if you are lucky enough there is a Chee Cheong Fun bike seller parking just outside the shop for you to add additional dishes to your breakfast. Price is average as any small town old coffeeshop.
