Stopped by for lunch and a couple of a beers with a golfing buddy last Friday.
The Burgers are some of the best in the Denver area. The beer is cold and the waitresses' were all friendly and made you feel at home. It is very crowed at lunch time so get their early at 11:00am or around 2:00pm. I'll be back as those burgers are delicious.

This is a quaint little country bakery, with both indoor and outdoor seating. I had a pumpkin brownie there, and I purchased other assorted confectionery items for home. Everything was delicious. Support local independent businesses. Friendly people and good prices.

Interesting little place. Does a good job with families and groups of six or eight. Has a patio that would be fun in the summer. Burgers, burgers, and more burgers, along with some other options. Food well-prepared, served hot. Service was great -- timely, courteous, knowledgeable. We'll go again!

Duke's Steakhouse

Reviewed By dmmonroe

Nice atmosphere, great service, packed (Friday night). My wife and I each ordered the tenderloin. She had a salad and I had a cup of soup. The salad, soup, and sides (baked potato and veggies) were all delicious. Unfortunately, the steak was just “average”. It was tender and seemed to be cooked “medium” as we ordered it, but lacked flavor and had a strange texture. I’m no expert on grilling a steak, but seemed like it needed to be better seared. Sorry.

Gabriel's

Gabriel's features elegant Northern Italian fine dining in the quaint town of Sedalia. Our restaurant is housed in the Victorian Manhart home which was built at the turn of the 1900's and converted into Gabriel's in 1985. Matthew and Jan, owners, have been serving the greater Denver area for over 20 years. Gabriel's specializes in three-course dining so you won't just get an entree. Your evening will begin with an appetizer, followed by soup or salad, then the entree of your choice. Our pricing ranges from $25 to $52 for all three courses. The extensive wine list offers a huge variety to compliment any dinner. We are conveniently located between Denver and Colorado Springs, just 20 minutes from the Tech Center and 30 from Denver. Gabriel's is perfect for all occasions; a romantic night out, a wedding, business function, holiday party and more. Indulge yourself and experience the ultimate in elegant fine dining.

My wife, daughter and I ate here for the first time recently. We loved the fact the restaurant is actually in a house with tables on the first and second floor so the setting is very unique and cozy. There is lots of parking in a large paved parking lot located behind the restaurant - just take the small dirt road that is off the main road beside the restaurant. From the parking lot there is a path through a nice courtyard/garden area and across the outdoor patio to the door of the restaurant.

We made reservations using Open Table, which I recommend, but one thing I want to mention there. From what I could see, there is nothing on the Gabriel's web site, or on Open Table when you make reservations, that indicates reservations are ONLY for the 3-course dinner menu. The restaurant has both a "dinner menu" and a "Tuscan Bistro" menu but apparently they only take reservations on Open Table for the 3-course dinner menu. I didn't know this until I got the reservation confirmation from Open Table which said "This reservation is for our 3-Course Fine Dining as we do not take reservations for our Patio or Bistro." It would be nice to know this up front.

We were seated immediately on our arrival at a nice table upstairs by windows. The windows overlooked the patio area and you could see the mountains in the distance - very nice. The wait staff brought water and a wine/beer list right away along with menus. We ordered two drinks (white sangria and a shock top beer) that came quickly, along with some garlic bread, and then the waiter took our orders. There is a good selection on the menu - fish, chicken, lamb, buffalo, beef, veal, shrimp, etc. There was music playing at a low volume throughout the meal and that was nice as well.

All of us had the house made ravioli for the first course (1 ravioli per person) and the Caesar salad for the second course - both were very good. For the main course 2 of us had the halibut and one had lamb. I thought the halibut was excellent but I did not care for the risotto, zucchini & squash spirals - just my preference. I did not ask if I could substitute some sides from other dishes (like pasta primavera, potato rosette, asparagus, fettucini, etc) but I wish I had at least asked if that was possible. My daughter's lamb was excellent as well.

On my reservation I mentioned my wife and I were celebrating our anniversary. After our meal the waitress brought a complimentary single tiramisu, with 3 spoons, for us to share - very nice and very good.

I would suggest allowing approximately 90 minutes for the 3-course meal. The 3-course meals are fairly pricey, ranging from about $30-$57 - the bill for the 3 of us was about $150. The restaurant setting is very nice, service was excellent, the food was very good, and several of the staff wished us a happy anniversary. I would certainly recommend Gabriel's but I do think it should be made clear on their web site and Open Table that reservations are ONLY for the 3-course meal, before you make the reservation. I would like to go back to try the bistro menu as the patio is very nice.

I love the military support. The restaurant is very clean and inviting. The service is always with a smile and represents the company in a very positive manner, making the customer (me) feel at home. The burgers are thin steak burgers that are hot & taste great. The thin fries are tender, hot, and flavored with their own seasoning. The sixties music is a nice touch for those of the era. I've been here many times and will continue to enjoy with each visit.

Have gone here for over 17 years. Now in the dumps. Not even half full when a took visiting friends to breakfast. Not 1\2 full. Took 15 minutes to place order. Then 55 minutes to get food. Went to counter area to ask about our order. Manager said there was a computer problem. Funny how 4 others tables came in ordered, got there food, eat, paid their bill and left. Before we got our food.

What is funny. Each table had a printed brochure on computer repair. Wonder why? After 55 minutes to get food. It was half cooked and awful. Management had no interest in theirslow service, under cooked meals to us. After 17 years, will no be back.
