Husband loves this place. His favorite was the Clams and Twin Lobsters. He was in heaven, and thoroughly enjoyed the menu. I love that it is right on the water, and you can watch the fisherman coming in after a day on the water with their haul. Absolutely authentic with the fresh food, and ocean smells <3

They have really good pizza that is cooked in a wood fired oven. They have a very good selection of beers and the service is top notch. Mostly local people and they really support the community. A great experience!

Move over Ben and Jerry's, Hodgies has you beat. It may not be what you expect as Hodgies has removed all artificial coloring (so what if the mint chocolate chip is not that bright green color you are used to), the flavors are incredible. Be aware, the cones sizes are huge. I usually get a quarter kiddie cone. So pay attention or you may get much more than you might expect, but plan to be pleased with the results. There are no bad choices at Hodgies.

Lisa and I went here for a quick breakfast early in the morning.
We ordered muffins and medium coffees.
The coffee was hot and flavorful and the muffins were outstanding.
We sat at the front of the coffee shop at the window table.
This place also sells branded merchandise like tee shirts and hoodies as well as travel mugs and other clothing articles.
There is also a cooler with juices and water etc.
Prices are at a premium but then again so is the food and drinks. It is well worth the money.
Stop by and then walk across the street to the Hampton Beach

When I say this place is on the water, I mean literally on the water. Looking out the window you see ocean right up to the building below. It’s very soothing watching the surf lit by outdoor lighting. This restaurant is located in a music venue. It’s also a wedding destination… From what I’m told, the exact location where I’m sitting used to be a skating rink.
My serverBlake, a young man, was comical in a dry kinda way and possessing a certain niavate… When I asked him about the history of the place, he starts telling me… So I recently moved up from Florida… At this point you turn and look into the camera as though addressing an audience that’s not in the scene… Quick on his feet and really worked to stay on top of his game. I like him! He made me laugh… But enough about that…
He brings out a bread basket with assorted breads… Pretzel, Olive, Sourdough and the last one escapes me with soft House Whipped butter. And so it begins…
My next course, a Shrimp Cocktail… 5 large shrimps hooked over a bowl filled with Cocktail Sauce and Horse Radish… Lots of Cocktail Sauce which was great because usually you’re left wanting more. I was in the mood for this and it was even better than I anticipated it would be.
I think it’s important to have greens with dinner so with that, the Greenhouse Salad… Hydro Bibb, Avocado, Heirloom Tomato, Pistachio Feta dressed in a Lemon Oregano Vinaigrette… This dish presents itself as huge however once you start it, you realize it’s Bibb, and Bibb is light. Nice touch with the Pistachio. It gave the salad a whole different texture.
At my servers comical suggestion, the main course tonight, Seared U10 Scallops… Lobstah & Mushroom Risotto, Shaved Asparagus, Parmesan and Truffle Oil Arugula… Another fantastic dish! The Lobstah Risotto was loaded with large Claw meat and packed with flavor.
And as with so many nights before this, I finish with a Cappuccino…
Fun night, great Oceanside setting, friendly staff and great cuisine. What more could one possibly ask for? When you come here, tell ‘em Paul sent you and be sure to ask for Blake to be your server. He was awesome!

Took the grandkids there for a mid-afternoon ice cream. It was a Tuesday afternoon but there was lots of traffic and the place was busy, but only two windows open. Girl seemed to be doing her best, but it was slow just to get 3 small cups of ice cream. Trash barrels were overflowing, but I noticed later that they had been attended to. Ice cream was very good.

My wife and I went to Port City Sandwich in Newburyport MA on Labor Day 2017. The menu was extensive with intetesting choices. I got the four cheese grilled cheese sandwich- cheddar, swiss, american and provolone. The sandwich was not melted enough and it tasted like just a glob of cheese. You could not taste any one cheese.
My wife got the southwestern wrap. I tried a bit of hers and it was good but a little too spicy but I am a wimp when it comes to spicy food.
I would definitely try them again. They were very busy when we went in and they have so many choices.

Join us at Linda's Breakfast for a delicious homemade breakfast, lunch or a cup of coffee! We serve traditional breakfast and lunch but always add something special to the menu. In addition to great food, we take pride in providing excellent, friendly service.
This is another very good breakfast & lunch restaurant in the area. We have been here a few times both for breakfast and lunch. Both were delicious and plentiful. Service is very good also and the prices are right.

A unique brick building w/tin ceilings set within a neighborhood. Formerly an appliance store, there is a cut out in the wood floors where the lift use to be to bring items up from or down to the basement.
My family recently gathered at Phat Cat's for a birthday celebration... and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. With a reservation, we were seated immediately.
The atmosphere is funky - a cross between rustic and 19th-century industrial. The service is friendly and attentive... and the food is superb. The restaurant is helmed by a husband and wife team. He's the chef and she's a baker. This makes for a delightful meal from start to finish.
House-made bread was followed by appetizers: mussels, calamari, and a bleu cheese dip. The portions were generous, but all three disappeared quickly. The menu offers something for everyone - from burgers to seafood to pasta. Daily specials were also tempting. The seven dishes we ordered were all excellent.
Desserts are all house-made - including the ice cream! - and well worth the effort. We tried five, and all were hits.
I only get to the Amesbury area every year or so... but I'm already planning to have dinner at Phat Cat's on my next visit. This restaurant is a real gem.

Many choices on their menu but they are best known for their fresh seafood & fresh veggies well-prepared, not soggy or overdone. The lighter fare in the upstairs bar is just right for those who don't like to overeat. I've sent many people there & all have been very happy with their experience.
