We've now eaten here 3 times in 3 weeks, latest time with whole family. (7 of us) No-one disappointed with meal at all. Food is delicious everytime. From sesame prawn toast with generous topping and a delicious sauce accompaniment to the spare ribs which were falling off their bones and dripping in a delicious sauce. Beef in black bean was popular at our table, beef apparently was tender and a generous portion. I had Bangok Prawns which were spicy and sticky. Just right. Service was very attentive, one of the waitresses was quite new and could perhaps have been taught that it is polite to wait until everyone at the table has finished before clearing plates but that is a minor complaint. Restaurant not busy but takeway seemed non stop. Excellent value for money too, just under £25 a head including 2 courses and a few drinks. Becoming a new firm favourite.

Have eaten here for a considerable number of years, at best would rate it as average, but it seems to be going downhill. Ordered a 'Cheung Bau' which I have enjoyed before , but when I got it home , it was an off-brown colour , and each bit of chicken was rock hard, and the sauce coating was like burnt toffee flavoured. Sorry, but this was not a treat , won't be back for a while, until I read some better reviews.

We were staying in Portobello for the weekend and came across this excellent restaurant by chance. When we looked in the window the place was very busy( always a good sign). Obviously hadnât booked but went in any way. The girl who was on the desk was very accommodating and got us squeezed in. We both ordered mini spring rolls for starters. I had Szechuan chicken for mains, my wife had chicken fried rice. The order was filled very quickly and with finesse. The starters arrived and 10 yes 10 mini spring rolls each were served to us( read the menu properly it does state 10 mini rolls), just as well we were very hungry. They were delicious. Then on to the mains. I have had many a Chinese meal but this was far superior to any before. Highly recommend this little restaurant. Try to book a table as we were lucky to get in other people were turned away after us as the place was packed. All the food served round about us also looked delicious. The duck is apparently their specialty. May try this the next visit.

We drove past this establishment and there are 3 different Chinese takeaways within a mile i would say.We initially were going to go for their dine in offer Sun - Thursday for £10.95 but when we weighed up the dishes in that offer it wasn't that much cheaper (if cheaper at all).We rang to order the takeaway and didn't know it actually puts you through to their other branch and they send the order to Cockenzie branch.Delivery is £1.20 but was more than double the collection ready time so we collected.I thought food was good although king prawns quite small. Mixed platter appetiser for 2 was a little dry looking but the prawn toasts were really tasty.I know there are mixed reviews about this place but we didn't have a problem and enjoyed the meal.

Drove past on our way home last night and noticed for first time. Decided to return later. Checked out menu online. Do Chinese and Thai. Ordered a chicken red curry and a prawn red curry with coconut jasmine rice. Restaurant quality despite being a wee takeaway. Average price. (£18 for both) Rice in particular very good. Would have happily eaten just a bowl of rice. Very friendly staff. About to become our new favourite - and only a 5 minute drive away - might be dangerous for the purse and the waistline!

Ordered a takeaway meal for 5 people on Saturday evening. It took 1hour 15 mins to arrive I phoned again after waiting 45mins to be told the driver had the food and was on route. It then took 30 mins to arrive, I live about half a mile from the shop so not sure where the driver went. Needless to say the food was cold.Disappointing as I have had nice food from here in the past
Late home from work and couldn't be bothered cooking. Ordered prawn on toast, salt and chilli chicken and a boiled rice. Was delivered quickly, the order was correct and it tasted great. The price is around average for the area. Have used before and will use again
