Highland Perthshire places some of Scotland’s most spectacular scenery within easy reach of both Glasgow and Edinburgh, and Pitlochry is the most geared-up base from which to enjoy it. It’s been a bustling mountain resort since the railways arrived in 1863, and these days manages to be both a cozy favorite for tourists who enjoy browsing in its woolen mills and taking in the repertory of plays at its famous Festival Theatre, and a magnet for adrenalin junkies in search of bungee jumping, canyoning, tubing and white water rafting adventures. Visitors of any age will be intrigued by the Pictish carvings on the huge Dunfallandy stone at nearby Ballinluig and, after a bracing mountain walk or visit to the famous salmon ladder, adults can enjoy a warming dram of malt whiskey after a tour at one of the two local distilleries, Edradour and Blair Athol.

We searched the internet for a dog friendly cafe following a walk at Killiecrankie. What a fantastic find. Nae limits is an adventure place where you can go to do water rafting and other activities. The cafe is fairly big and our first impression was that it was very welcoming, it was warm and cosy and plenty of space between the tables, which meant it was great for us as our dog had plenty space to lie down. A good menu with a good selection of sandwiches, breakfast items, soup and teas and coffees. The cafe was busy and the girl behind the counter didn't stop, she was very friendly and efficient. We really enjoyed our visit and will most definitely be back.

After sampling the catering at several castles on this visit to the UK, I was not expecting much. What a pleasant surprise I had at Tullibardine Restaurant. I had the venison casserole with roasted potatoes and green beans. Excellent! My aunt had the braised beef and it also was excellent. Both meats were exceptionally tender and flavorful. The vegetables were fresh and the potatoes delicious! We complimented the staff and found out that our chefs today were Kelly and George. Well done!

Our tour stopped in Pitlochry for lunch. We found Cafe Biba for a quick lunch to allow time for shopping. We ordered sandwiches. The service was fast and friendly.

vegan friendly, dog friendly, ideal for families, the most popular place in Perthshire to visit, open 7 days a week and all year round. Christmas time is winter wonderland time santa in his grotto events throughout the year
Myself, husband and our two dogs visited the cafe today and were greeted by a lovely man who kindly spoke to our dogs and gave them both a biscuit. My husband had a lovely mocha (best one he has ever had!) and a delicious cake. The cafe is situated in a beautiful area and we very much enjoyed our visit and the gorgeous views. Highly recommend

Hard to believe that anywhere, in this day and age, doesn't adequately cater for vegetarians/vegans but this place... wow. A veggie burger. That's it. Literally, that's it. Asked the staff and got told no, we don't do vegetarian stuff. Wow.Apparently when my partner went back in alone later they mentioned they could have done a baked potato with cheese, but that was not clear on the menu nor was it mentioned when I specifically asked about vegetarian options. If I could give a 0 star review I would.

A quirky wee Tearoom, serving great Food, Teas, Coffees, Cold Drinks and Awesome Cakes! A Happy Experience in today's crazy world!
I must admit to being very particular about coffee. My wife and I dropped in here on a Thursday afternoon - one of the things which attracted us was how busy it was.We were not disappointed - I had a double espresso, which I must admit was as good as the ones I make myself. My wife also enjoyed her cappuccino.Service was excellent and staff were working constantly cleaning and clearing tables and dealing with orders. It wasn't until I was paying the bill and complemented the owner on the coffee that I found out they roast their own coffee - it had been roasted earlier that day.If we are ever back in Pitlochry, it will warrant a return visit.

My wife had a Scottish Cheddar and curried banana chutney sandwich, I had a chicken and roasted capsicum chiabata. Both were really nice and different to the normal BLT etc that you find in most cafes. Its a lovely little town too, so a nice place to stop.

A working watermill has been on the site since 1590s. We mill our own flour and oatmeal which we then use in our bakery attached to the mill. We serve breakfast, light lunches and cakes and our aim is to provide simple wholesome food with our baking and l
Lunch was excellent. Had a home made bagel with beautiful ham, this was delicious. The mill wasnât working on our visit but you could still go in and read about the experience and speak to well informed mill staff. Those who love fresh flower will love this place.

Went here with a couple of friends and our children. It was lovely and sunny so we sat outside. Food came very quickly. The toasters were lovely. I had soup as well which was very tasty. My children wanted a pain ham baguette and they were happy to accommodate. It was very big so they halved one and still werenât able to finish it. The home baking looked amazing but I resisted. Definitely deserves the number of excellent reviews. Wasps were a bit of a problem but you canât blame the owners for that.
