A cosy, wood panelled, well stocked bar with an open log fire to sample a few of our large selection of malt whiskies beside. Enjoy fresh, local produce and seafood landed at our own pier served daily, with the option of enjoying wonderful views on a nice
Anchored off Oronsay and a short ride ashore and into Praban Bar. Stunning views at sunset and great food. Bar staff very helpful regarding our enquiries about local whisky and went out of way on busy night to find presentation box. Very cosy bar and friendly folk. Thanks to Andy for great service and keeping us informed of events. Great stop and nice end to day on west coast. Declan George & Robbie from the Alice Rose...âµï¸

Came here as I was staying in Kyleakin . What a great place sat outside in the sunshine with my friend who I had meet up with . Would certainly recommend it

Food is the crowning part of the Kinloch experience. Feeding you well at every opportunity is something we take extremely seriously. Claire Macdonald started the kitchens at Kinloch with a mission to make the most of the wonderful local produce on offer.
Iâve been fortunate enough to eat in a few high class restaurants in my time and can certainly applaud this one. The chef is inventive with his food and never fails to deliver the quality and taste expected of this caliber of restaurant.Thoroughly recommended

Came into the Gabbro Bar at 1pm hungry and thirsty, after a long walk. The place was empty, except for two members of staff deep in conversation. We waited at the bar for a good two minutes in full view of the two members of staff before giving up and walking out. The place stank of bleach too. Very off-putting. Went two minutes over the bridge to Cafe Sia where we had a fabulous lunch. No wonder the Gabbro Bar was empty if this is the welcome that greets visitors!

Situated with Stunning views over to Applecross and Lochcarron, we take immense pride in our delicious fish & chips, ethically and sustainably sourced. Our fried products are lightly battered with Highland spring water and cooked traditionally in beef dri
Myself & friends visited this establishment after a fantastic weekend in Portree. The service was horrible with a very sour faced female & not very friendly. There was NO COD, NO Rolls so ordered a breakfast box which came with no beans which stipulates on menu. I returned to ask about my beans to be told F**k Off. Iâm surprised the owner has any customers due to this arrogant foul mouthed lady. Personally Iâd avoid & travel further to eat as it was poorly cooked also.

We popped in for lunch one day and were delighted. A friendly welcome and a good menu. We all love seafood and wondered what to choose. We liked the sound of the gumbo but were worried it might be too spicy. We were given a sample pot which convinced us - and were offered some creme fraiche to cool it down a little. It was perfect. Thank you

We visit this area a lot with work, and the Claymore is one of our favourites. Tonight was busy, and the service was slow, but thatâs OK and understandable. However the food was appalling and overpriced, not seen that here before. The mussel broth was bland and watery, my chicken was cremated and inedible dumped on frozen chips with a few uninspiring lettuce leaves. We had 3 pints, 3 cokes and the bill was £103 for 3 of us with no desserts. Not good.

Located in the Old Schoolhouse building in Breakish only 6 miles over the bridge in the beautiful Isle of Skye, Red Skye Restaurant aims to provide a wonderfully relaxed yet creative dining experience. Open 6 days per week from March till October with exc
We called in for lunch having prebooked (which is advisable). The restaurant was busy, and whilst our order was taken promptly by a very good hostess/waitress, we had to wait around 40 minutes for our food to arrive. The kitchen is small and only staffed by one person as far as we could see, and this limits the speed of output if it is busy. We had a main course and dessert. Beef blade as a main course was very tasty, and the burgers are of a good quality, but only a meagre serving of chips was forthcoming. The lack of green vegetables was a disadvantage. Belgium chocolate mousse as a dessert was good, but overpriced. There is a good selection of local beers and also a wine list/menu, but all drinks are expensive.
