At The West House, we strive to create an environment that everyone can enjoy. We're dedicated to being the finest establishment around, we aren't a restaurant, we simply serve excellent food, washed down by stunning cocktails and beautiful wines.
I popped in for brunch expecting things to be as good as my previous visits. However, I was sadly disappointed: prices have increased and portions appear reduced.I ordered the berry pancake stack which was around £4.50 previously, but was something like £5.95. No side little pot of maple syrup either. My tea was served as a cup with a tea bag in it which was charged at, what I consider, 'teapot' prices.Although service was bright and, despite being busy, I was served promptly I don't expect to be returning. I wonder if The West House is cashing in on the Dundee waterfront upgrade and subsequent increase in travellers to the city? Well, they've priced this local off their list. Shame.

When this place is good itâs good, unfortunately itâs never the same. Each time you visit the food quality is different and there are a few servers not interested. That said there are a couple of girls who are always smiling. One is foreign and had blue through her hair. The other blonde with a red tie. Both a credit to the placeHi Rabd71,Firstly thank you for your review as feedback is very important to us in Dundee as we are always looking to improve our branch.I am disappointed to hear you donât get the consistency Iâd expect in Dundee with both food and service.I can assure you the points raised will be discussed at our next full team meeting.I will be sure to pass your comments on to both Mira and Kiyrie and are a credit to the team.I do hope this doesnât put you off returning in the future.Kind regardsTM

I had intended to go to Bellini but it was closed so I booked here instead. I had mussels to start & followed by veal scaloppini, washed down with red wine. I finished with coffee with complimentary liqueur. All in all excellent food good service, reasonable price. I was glad Bellini was shut & will certainly go back.

At Italian Grill we are more than Pizza & Pasta, but don't get us wrong we take this area seriously, producing our own freshly made pasta & pizza dough on a daily basis. We offer Italian inspired dining with Scottish execution, offering a varied menu to s
Myself and my partner couldnât be more satisfied with our meal. The whole experience was enjoyable. We had oysters, pork cheek, scallops, cheese burger, truffle mac and cheese, tobacco onions and squid ink spaghetti. Everything cooked to perfection in my opinion and I am a chef. Will definitely be back soon to try some of the other fantastic dishes on the menu. 10/10 to the Italian grill staff.

First time we have eaten in this Italian restaurant and it was absolutely lovely. The staff were very professional, very helpful and very obliging, nothing was too much trouble. Our meal was delicious and our requests for changes were granted. So many thanks . The place was extremely busy which is an excellent reflection of its high standards. Look forward to a return visit. No hesitation recommending this restaurant. Many thanks to the owner who is a very hands on person ensuring everything was up to standard. Thanks to all the staff for making it a super evening

Made to feel really welcome as soon as we came in the door. The waitress was really friendly. Fast service as the restaurant wasnât too busy. Pizzas were absolutely brilliant. Really tasty with lots of flavour, thin base and light and crispy crust. Cooked in pizza oven. Great value during the day - any pizza for £6 each! Bargain. Would definitely come back.

Typical Italian (authentic) feel, lovely house red wine, service was very quick and very good with a full house. Food was nothing short of majestic - absolutely fantastic. Baked aubergine starter was out of this world. Tiramisu brilliant. Probably the best Italian in the city. We will be back.
