Wow, tucked away at the back of a charity shop in the old Dobbies, youâd certainly never stumble across it. Lucky for me I was taken for lunch here. Really terrific Thai dishes full of authenticity. Friendly staff. Canât wait to come back and work through this menu!

Come here for Chinese and Indian food, everything else was well below par. If if you have ever been to a World Buffet in other city centres, you'll have good expectations, especially for families, however, this was not up to our expectation. Wouldn't go back, but then that's just us, other people really rate the establishment.

Thai with friends for food and fun! Nestled away down on the Quayside in Cambridge transports you away from the river Cam to the streets of Koh San road in Thailand with booth seating and two small private dining rooms we make the perfect place to celebra
Last time I visited this place the service was dreadful. I'm pleased to say this time it was very good. The waiter was nice and friendly and gave good recommendations, the food arrived quickly and there were no problems really. I should say we did visit on a weekday lunch though when it wasn't very busy, whereas the previous poor experience was on a Saturday night. It looks nice inside anyway with lots of cool and quirky ornaments and decorations. I had the breaded butterfly prawns and the chilli and Thai basil king prawn stir fry (big, juicy prawns; spicy but not too spicy), both of which were nice. I also tried the Thai fish cakes. These were really great and came with various chopped vegetables and relish and sauce and crushed peanuts. The Thai iced tea I wasn't very keen on. It's usually much better elsewhere. It comes with whipped cream on top here, but I asked for it without - not a good addition I don't think. A good lunch overall.Khop Khun Kha (thank you) Khun violet339 for taking the time to share your lovely review. It is an honour to hear that we reached your expectations on your previous visit. Here at Thaikhun Aberdeen, we pride ourselves in serving Khun Kim's traditional Thai dishes and providing Ha Dao (5* service) to all of our guests, I am delighted these were both key highlights on your visit, as well as our interior setting. It is designed to transport our guests to a Thai street market in Bangkok. I cannot wait to share your comments with the team, and we hope to welcome you back again soon.

Authentic Thai cuisine with a large choice of starters, main courses and cakes / biscuits.
In the Market in Aberdeen to try the Thai food, bit more expensive than the Swansea Market. However, no tables available, people waiting, generous portions, lovely smell, very colourful. Strip of seats where u could have waited, people finishing up and could have asked to share table. Instead went to international cafe with Hungarian chef. Lovely soup n egg roll.... Much needed. Cosy food/friendly people. Market lovely place for munch.

We found the restaurant through Trip Advisor as we don't know Aberdeen. The outside had us wondering as it didn't look too impressive and the inside is not classy but the food was super and very reasonably priced. I had a glass of Pinot Grigio which was also good. The staff were attentive and friendly and I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant.
