After booking a table for two for 6-30pm the restaurant staff showed us to our table and gave us the menu to choose from. We ordered drinks which were quick to be served to us. The people at the next two tables were served, eaten and away and all we had was one starter. I was still waiting one hour later for my order to be served to me. This was not the waiter's fault he only delivers the food to the table. The management of this establishment leave a lot to be desired. The food was only average at best. I would not recommend this as a customer focused restaurant.

The Dunfermline branch of popular Italian restaurant Bella Italia is ideally located just moments away from the Alhambra Theatre in the city centre. Decked out in the trademark Bella Italia rustic style, the restaurant features attractive tiled flooring a
Our first time trying Bella italia. We popped in for lunch today. Service was OK, we felt the portions where rather sparce with meat and expensive especially the kids meal. One particular thing that irked me was that I asked for no onions, however it still came with onions. So I wouldn't be confident if I had any food intolerance. So overall ok but I won't be rushing back, better places for the same money.

Visited the restaurant on a Monday night with family for a birthday meal. I have been on a number of occasions previously, but had forgotten how good the food was. I had the antipasto contadino for starter, followed by a seafood pizza, then cheese cake for dessert. Everything was amazing! Staff are always helpful and friendly and the restaurant is a cosy and relaxing place to sit and have a meal and a chat. Glad I picked this restaurant to celebrate my birthday and look forward to my next visit. Thanks again.

Drove past this place a few times and have been saying for ages we should stop in. This evening we finally did. Great idea!! The place is so much bigger than it looks like from the road, which means lots of space for tables, itâs very clean and modern. The toilets were spotless which I think is always a great sign. The staff were great, seated us immediately and took our order as soon as we were ready. Food arrived promptly and was perfect, the menu is quite extensive and Iâm sure even a fussy eater could find something they liked. I can highly recommend Lucas Kitchen.

Visited the new place, below average food which is priced as if it is in Edinburgh City Centre. You can see why the previous establishment didn't last long, and I can see this heading the same way.
