Relaxed Dinning Not Formal Happy
We ate here twice during a stay in the area. Very accomadating as we had two dogs and a one year old. Food was excellent with a good choice and huge portions. Great location and even though it was June the wood burning stove made it very cosy and welcoming.

We met here on the first April weekend adults and kids. Although our 9 year olds are brilliant golfers clubs can still be snooty about juniors, not here most welcome. Course was a bit wet but not a great day. The lunch after with a river view and roaring fire was lovely, kids loved the pool table and their rolls n sausage. Gentleman behind the bar ran about getting us rolls, juice coffees........... Excellent service all of Scotland should take note!

Schiehallion Hotel offers a public area for dining open for breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week. Family and dog friendly you will receive a warm welcome when you join us for a meal or just a drink
My girlfriend and I recently stayed in aberfeldy for a few night's mainly to do the white water rafting experience with splash in which I had bought for her last Xmas as a present. On the evening we popped into the schiehallion bar, on the main street, for something to eat and a drink. I could not get served at all! I stood at the bar, with a note in hand, in the usual way indicating I'd like to order something when the barman could and he chose to serve all and sundry around me and ignored me entirely...then, when he'd served everyone else including two girls who had came in after I'd already been stood at the bar, he opted to get into convo with them instead! I don't normally like leaving bad reviews and less so when I've loved a place and had a fantastic time somewhere but, unless you're from aberfeldy, I wouldn't even entertain the idea of trying for a glass of water here...save your time and head to the fountain instead! Thank you for taking the time to leave a review feedback is important to us to continue to improve our services.I am sorry on this occasion that our service fell short of what should be expected in our industry.I would like to investigate this a little further and ask if you could send me an email with the date that you were in (or the night) this will let me narrow down the staff members on duty. The email address is [email protected] again I apologise for the ill treatment you received and hopefully can reassure you that this was an isolated incident and it won't happen again.I look forward to hearing from you.Kind regards

The Black Watch Inn and Croft Restaurant is Aberfeldys oldest bar which serves food daily in either the bar, restaurant or outside seating area.
When traveling through the Scottish Highlands we stumbled upon this gem. Itâs outside appearance wasnât overly inviting but the well priced menu selection made up our minds. The staff were excellent and the food great, we could recommend the gammon and fish and chip, and we would certainly return. The interior decor, although not worn, presented a great opportunity to be upgraded to a black watch theme, tartan wallpaper with adorned with scenic Highland prints, who knows that could happen.....

The Fountain Bar is a lively pub set in the heart of Aberfeldy. Serving food daily from 11am Mon - Fri and 10am Sat and Sun. We welcome families, large groups and anyone looking to enjoy our highly recommended home cooked meals.
Came into the Fountain on Friday 13th but it wasnât bad luck, quite the opposite in fact. The food was delicious. I had a Cajun chicken burger which I thoroughly enjoyed. My friends also enjoyed their mince and potatoes and venison burger. The prices were very reasonable for both food and drink and the pub had great ambience. However,I really have to mention the lovely young lady who served us......Fiona Fernie. She was so helpful, friendly and happy and her service certainly made our evening.Thank you,Fiona.I would heartily recommend this pub!
