A group of us went here for an evening meal, at first I wasn't sure what type of a place it would be because you walk into the take-away section and walk over to the left hand side of the restaurant which is set up with a few tables. I think it would be nicer if the partition was pulled over as there was a lot of people coming in and waiting for their take-away and it felt like we were being watched all the time. Some of our party felt quite cold (the radiators weren't on and the front door was constantly being opened) so they kept their coats on throughout the meal. The meal was really good and well presented on the plates with all our food being cooked really well, however the chicken pakoras were really greasy but peel away the batter and the chicken was nicely done. It seemed to take forever for the food to be served up, we arrived at 7pm and didn't finish till nearly 10pm, food could of come to the table a bit quicker I thought. The restaurant has a bring your own bottle policy and there is no corkage charge. There is a bus stop right outside the restaurant with regular buses running late (No.7 will take you to Kirkcaldy bus station or Dunfermline the other way). If you are looking for gourmet food then this is not the place for you, if you are looking for take-away food (albeit really well presented on the plate) to eat at an good price, sitting down at a table, with a few beers or wine then this is place for you. The server was polite and well presented and the owner/chef did come over and ask how we were and how the food was, so it was nice to see him taking the trouble to get feedback from his clientele.

Kezban is a mediterreanen restaurant where all the food is prepared fresh and cooked on the BBQ charcoal grill . The chef is originally from Turkey, he has 15 years experience. He prepares the delicious dishes with high quality ingredients. All the mezes
We visited during a stay in the area.Had booked in advance after consulting Trip Advisor for ideas for restaurants. We love Turkish/Greek food, so this place jumped out at us & Iâm so glad it did. We have been to Meze Meze in Rose street before & love it, so thought we would try here. The food was amazing. We chose the mixed meze for 2 & our 13 year old son had a separate kids meal but tried some of ours too. Everything was so tasty, fresh & flavoursome & plentiful. We washed it down with Efes. Food & service was excellent, decor was stunning with all the Turkish lamps, loved it. We will definitely return next time we are back in the area. Highly recommend you visit. Thank you so much for visiting Kezban and we greatly appreciate your review. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the food served here and that you found it all to be fresh and flavoursome. Thank you for your kind comments regarding our staff and for appreciating our unique decor. We hope you enjoyed your stay and we hope to see you again very soon!

Authentic atmosphere, warm welcoming, family run business and great food
My family and I went here for the first time and we had some hot and cold Mezze with sides the food was amazing. I would like to say how lovely the lady was who served us she was very attentive and explained everything on the menu and had a great sense of humour. To finish we were given complimentary Turkish tea which was lovely. Well worth a visit and we will go again .

Authentic home made Turkish cuisine in the heart of Edinburgh. Charcoal BBQ grill for that true Turkish flavour and a large daily selection of fresh home made Meze!
Looked at TripAdvisor for ideas and found this restaurant and Iâm so glad I did. This is a small, intimate restaurant with no fancy decor so might put people off but it shouldnât. The food was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. I canât recommend this place highly enough.
