We had a superb evening with family and friends in Callander Meadows on Sunday 4th August!Nick and Suzannah pulled out all the stops and provided our party of 16 with an excellent choice of menu and wines, and we had the restaurant to ourselves, making for a wonderful intimate personal event. We had children with us and they were catered for with a lovely meal and board games to keep them occupied.Thankyou Nick, Suzannah and Christine....it was fabulous!

Scottish Bistro, serving local fresh produce at Loch Achray, the heart of the Trossachs. Booking essential.
Just returned from an absolutely stunning meal at Scottâs Bistro! Faultless service, food, value for money! My partner had the Haggis starter which was lovely and the Pork and Apple burger which he loved and said that without a doubt it was the best pork heâs ever had, super tender. I had the slow cooked lamb shank which was absolutely incredible! All the food was piping hot and so delicious, even the chips were outstanding! My partner asked for a negroni cocktail which they happily accommodated. Mark who owns the restaurant went above and beyond, amazing prompt service and so friendly and personable, conversing about our stay and interests. Our highest compliments to Mark, the chef and the whole team. An absolute must visit if you are anywhere near the area!

Pre-dinner drinks and hors d'oeuvre in the bar, and then into the restaurant for their âtasterâ menu. 6 courses of exquisite food. Staff were friendly and attentive, food was excellent and wine menu complete. A very enjoyable and civilised dinner. The restaurant was quiet and not full. Iâd be wary of bringing children.

Restaurant within hotel
This is the best food in town. Really interesting menu and a chef that knows his business. The ambience of the restaurant is impacted from the fact that there is only a small window under the low ceiling that give a little natural light, otherwise itâs a basement feeling.
