As a HGV driver this a welcome place to park and have a break with decent food.Staff always friendly and helpful, a welcome break from the faceless multi nationals on the direct motorways. Even the small shop sells at fair prices also a welcome change from getting ripped off at other places.Always my preferred choice if times and route dictate.

I'm not going to say it's the best Greggs I've ever been to but it's definitely not the worst. I'd say I had a nice time there. In terms of visitor attractions, it's not the London Eye but you can get a bacon roll and a coffee for £2, so that's quite good.

We stayed for two weeks in Dumfries. Went to High Street the first morning and firstly, love the street! Just great (although I didn't understand that it was Pedestrian only so, that explains the looks when I drove to the bakery!).Marchbanks there, the one near the Costa toward the bottom of the street and mall was just great! The two ladies that we included in our photo were so patient and kind and, as a result of the great, really great cakes and pies, we came back most mornings of our stay!Prices were great and the selection was excellent! Could not have been a better local bakery shop than what we found here. Thanks for many delicious breakfasts and snacks!Tom and Brooke and the family!
