As above we went for the monthly Sunday buffet ( last Sunday of every month). Its £11.95 per head and you canât prebook.Outside of the restaurant is quite dingy looking with peeling paint, but itâs perfectly pleasant inside.Buffet was really good. Not a huge amount of choice but all fresh , different curry heats and the chicken used in the main curries was good quality breast meat and the vegetables in the vegetarian ones tasted fresh rather than frozen.Service could have been better. We were asked what drinks we wanted before we sat down and without the aid of the menu, then they took an age to arrive- but advantage of the buffet is that was the only bit where we needed them to serve.

Came for dinner on a Friday night. Inside the restaurant is very dated but don't let this put you off. The food was all lovely especially the seaweed and crispy duck! Would definitely return.

Went in for the weekday lunch deal ,we were greeted by who I assume was the owner ,there was only one other table occupied,the menu was a bit limited but fine for a lunch,the service was excellent and the food was freshly cooked and tasty, not the largest portions ever but again fine for a lunch and great value for money . Will probably try the evening menu next time.

We did eat early and perhaps the staff were not fully up to speed - which may explain the following.When asked for a glass of red wine, off went the waiter to return with the information, "Sorry, I cannot find any red, will white do?"When asked for a jug of water for the three of us, he returned with two glasses and told us , "Sorry, I could not find a jug!"It was a long time before our order was taken, but, we were in no hurry, and the food was lovely!!!There is a nice entrance to the restaurant, up well carpeted set of stairs, but the interior painting looked very slapdash. Finally, the waiter was a lovely fellow, and we enjoyed our time here.
