On a rainy Saturday evening, we stopped at this restaurant seduced by the interior decor seen through the large window. As we had no reservation, the manager sat us between the kitchen and the toilet despite our request for a better table. Strangely enough, many unreserved tables were available (even as we left).As the waiter was not too helpful to explain us the menu, we took the group menu at his suggestion. (we are only 2) This allows you to 9 starters (!) and 2 plates from selected items in the regular menu.As we were waiting our food and throughout our meal, we witnessed many arguments between the manager and the personnel (mostly non-Scottish women). Raising his voice, he literally called them "piece of ****" and reminded them that he was the boss and they were the employees. In Canada, this would be considered a clear case of harassment.As for the food, the starters were good, but our main plates were only average (salmon overcooked, ...) It's unfortunate, because we usually appreciate this type of cuisine (Damas in Montreal being our favorite). However, in this case, it clearly lacked refinement.As for the manager, he also lacked ...

Not visited little Italy in a while so decided to take the family for a wee birthday meal. The youngsters had calamari which was really nice and decent portion, whilst us parents shared the meat antipasto. Lush.Mains came out, the pasta dishes were awesome, pizzas very nice too. Waiting staff were brilliant. Very attentive. All in all a lovely evening. Oh and the Limoncello.....wow!

Visited while staying in Inverness and our first time in a tapas restaurant . Food was fantastic. The staff are excellent and service is attentive but not intrusive. Wines are excellent too. So good we went back again before we left. Next time we are up we will be back. A very, very popular place and so would suggest booking. Thank you for your great review, we are so glad you "found us" and enjoyed both your visits! As you saw we do get busy so your advice is spot on, we always advise customers to book on a weekend to be sure of a table.
