We were the only people having lunch at the time in this pleasant hotel. Friendly staff, a cosy environment, all clean/tidy and background music played at the right level.My meal was fine enough (haddock, peas & thin chips). The fish were a bit greasy and possibly the smallest catch of 2 x haddock from the North Sea known to man? Pricey for the quantity/quality. A relaxing lunch though. I'll be back to see if these points positively change.

Donât visit for the food - there isnât any. The female bar tender was friendly and efficient.There are outside tables for harbour views.The place is crying out for some tlc and a deep clean wouldnât be a waste of time or money.....The toilets for both sexes were very grubby but Hey! us ladies get a glitter toilet seat. This little bar could be so much better.

Would have stayed here, but it looked awful on google streetview. Fortunately it has been considerably updated since then and looks much better.As it was, we only ate here. To be honest town has seen better days, but this place is like a modern oasis, really smart and up to date with good food.
