Came in for date night with the husband, had the salmon pasta and was actually amazed at how good it was, the staff put the experience over the top! I was served by a younger gentleman named Jaz who had really good banter and made my night. Gloomy room, but food was tasty! Efficient staff & Food was served quickly. Tables are very close together, but it was quiet when we were there. Hotel staff say that booking is advisable.

Lovely friendly hotel..nothing too much trouble for anyone and the food is reasonably priced but absolutely delicious..our room was huge with a super king bed and full size bathroom (bath and shower)..the village is picaresque and a great base to explorer the area..Stirling is well worth a visit as is the Kelpies at Falkirk..great value stay with the best cooked breakfast that will set you up for the whole day
