we stopped for a light lunch and a quick look at the factory and its products. The workmanship is impressive, the prices out of my league . . . As for lunch, it all depends what you want: we had a bowl of (lentil) soup and a cheese scone, both fine (especially the soup). Reasonable prices too. Coffee to follow. There's a range of scones and cakes - so ok for tea - but not much more, as far as I could see; so, fine for tea or a light lunch, but if you're seriously hungry (and fancy a beer), look elsewhere.

After having a recent enjoyable lunchtime snack at Harry Gow Invergordon, we decided to try Harry Gow Tain. As with Invergordon, there was a good range of hot and cold snacks and drinks and prices were reasonable. This time we sat in. Service from Christine was quick and friendly and we again thoroughly enjoyed our lunch.Recommended.Thank you again for taking the time to send us your feedback. Delighted you enjoyed our products so much and found our staff friendly and efficient. I will pass your comments to our Tain manager to share with her team, especially Christine. Thank you again and hope to welcome you back soon. Best wishes HG Team

Back to its Best. We use all local produce and have resurected this restaurant back to its glory days. Our aim is to use fresh local produce at a reasonable price. Our Sunday carvery now boasts an average attendance of 100 plus and all for £12.95
No kerb appeal. Grounds /gardens shamefully neglected. Front entrance poorly maintained with badly chipped door paintwork which was also filthy with dirty fingerprints. Reception area tired with absolutely filthy carpets. Whole place badly in need of maintenance & a decent clean. Staff a little disengaged (& what's with the bizarre aprons?) although most of the younger staff were pleasant. Food...like the decor, was tired - not totally unpleasant, but nothing special. However - the most memorable part of our visit has to be the overwhelming stench of sewage in the dining room.We won't be back and certainly wouldn't recommend to anyone. I only hope that the accommodation is in a better state than the public areas... but somehow, I doubt it

Went along with a friend and placed an order for food. Waited 50 minutes and still no sign of the food after asking twice. Was informed there was a function in the back room. Terrible customer service, will think twice about going again or recommending. Walked out along with 2 other customers.

The Seaboard Centre Cafe is situated in the small fishing village of Balintore on the coast of the Moray Firth. The cafe has beautiful views overlooking the Moray Firth where you can often see the dolphins jumping. We are a child friendly cafe offering te
First visit to the cafe nit knowing what to exist, a light roomy cafe with choice of tables from two to large groups obviously popular as several tables reserved. A menu offering a varied choice if soup, sandwiches, paninnis, baked potatoes and main meals. The tomato soup was delicious think and filling, the toasted sandwiches came with crisis and salad. Choice if coffees, teas, and juices. Very friendly and efficient staff, easy parking and with views looking out over the sea what more could you ask for.

when we arrived there was only 1 table free but had a reserved sign. A waitress immediately removed the sign and said we had plenty of time, and soon moved it to another table when free. We both had small breakfasts which were generous, hot and tasty. I particularly enjoyed the haggis, which I've never had for breakfast before but went really well with baked beans.

A few weeks ago the Rotary Club of Tain and Easter Ross met at the St Duthus for a Thursday evening meeting. We all chose from the standard menu. The portions were excellent, the food well cooked and the staff as friendly and helpful as ever.

A thoroughly enjoyable evening with family. Service was fast, friendly and helpful. Food, quite frankly, was superb. For one of the party, who for health reasons often cannot enjoy eating out as one might wish, they tailored to need exceptionally well and left her enthusiastic about having eaten. Every member of the party delighted with both quality and quantity. Highly recommended.

Greens Restaurant in Tain has just moved from Market Street to London House on the High Street. Now much larger premises Greens are able to cater for more customers in our new modern and relaxing restaurant. We look forward to welcoming you to our new res
It was superb! And I mean everything: from the first greeting as we walked in, the table itself, the very attentive (but discrete) servers, the wine - and the glassware - the unusual tableware and the food. Ah! the food! Just absolutely delicious from starter right through to dessert. Not sure just where we put it but it vanished.Yes, we have been before, both here and the previous much smaller premises. We shall be going again, too! No, we have no association with the place at all, sadly!Almost forgot, and quite important to lots of you, the toilets were immaculate.Truly a most impressive team effort. Well done everybody and thank you so much!
