Absolutely fantastic meal. The seafood was delicious and extremely fresh, if you want fresher seafood you'll have to buy a boat.Don't miss out on this little gem of a place but book in advance as they were turning people away. As I said when I shared your review on our Facebook feed, witty and positive.. thatâs the best kind. H

What a great place to stop for a light lunch. It overlooks Loch Torridon with stunning views. It was quite busy, so it seems to be a popular spot. Certainly, we had no complaints with the soup and sandwich. Both were very tasty and freshly prepared.

Great welcome from really friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere. The menu of dishes identified as surfy, turfy, or wee includes some great choices and very good value. The mussels were beautifully presented, really tasty and although from the "wee" choices a good sized portion.

Wonderful tranquil spot with friendly staff and delicious food. Fabulous choice of freshly cooked meals and snacks. We stopped enroute to our B&B for a coffee and cake, and we were so impressed we went back for Sunday evening dinner. A hidden gem, just a few minutes drive out of Applecross village....do make the effort to go.

Bright friendly cafe in Fortrose to suit all age groups. We have a fully kitted out disabled toilet. The cafe is wheelchair friendly. For the kiddywinkles we have a selection of toys to keep them amused, leaving mums and dads peace to enjoy the fabulous f
The fact that the cafe was very busy was an excellent sign and this was reflected intuit the service was really good. We also enjoyed the lunch and the cakes were as good as we have had anywhere.

Because of we had no reservation for the much more cosy Red Poppy this was our only dinner option near Strathpeffer. The restaurant is in a very posh castle hotel. The nice environment is it's main attraction. The food is fairly moderate with a high price.

Well, well, well, what a wonderful find in a remote spot on Scotland's West Coast.Let's start with the building. It's about as simple and cozy. The kitchen, which is tiny and right next to the dining area, is fitted out with pretty basic cooking equipment but don't let this fool you. The food that the chef and owner creates in this space is about as good as it gets!Next, the views. They're breathtaking. You can see right across the bay, out to the Summer Isles. Views don't get much better. Then, the service. Fabulous. You are well looked after. Finally, the food. I've already touched on it. One word. Brilliant. If you love seafood, you'll adore this place. You won't find much fresher or better anywhere in the world (and I've eaten in many places around the world). The food is local and mouth watering. We drove a couple of hours to eat here and it was well worth it.Salt Seafood Kitchen is a hidden gem of a place. I can't recommend it enough.Bon Apetite.

Since 2016, Bridge Cottage Cafe has been under new ownership and management. The cafe has been completely refurbished, and Ana and Manu offer delicious Galician baking as well as local favourites. Wherever possible, all food is organic and sourced locally
Back here after a year and we were so happy to find the place up the same excellent standards of home cooking and service. The broccoli and almond soup was so different from the standard cafe soups you often find, and the home made tortilla served with bread and a delicious fresh salad was wonderful. They also have a range of absolutely mouth-wateringly good cakes! Service was welcoming and prompt and overall we could not fault the place. We look forward to our next visit!

Local fresh and homemade from scratch produce served in the Old Schoolhouse perched on the shores of Inner Loch Torridon.
what a superb experience- we turned up at 4 pm and Aart was so helpful- Drinks on offer and whilst we did not actually have a reservation a 5pm was promptly given- what Hospitality- Superbwe had some haggis samosa starters and home made nachos with three dips and then we both had the seafood platter- sharing sticky toffee pudding(with plenty sauce) to finish - this was all just superb and excellent value for money.we chose to sit outside in the September sunshine- what a night and no midges( the offer to move inside was there from part but we did not have to take up the offer at allI have to commend the front of house which was faultless- so personable and helpful and very attentive but not obtrusive- The food was superb and i would thoroughly recommend this cafe/restaurant- what a great place. no downsides at all on this visit and we would hope to go back thereâºï¸
