Always happy to visit the Grange! Friendly staff and atmosphere who never hesitate to go the extra mile whenever they can required. The Grange offers a very decent, reasonably priced menu (Iâm relatively local but residents often cite this as a deciding factor over generic local hotel chains) which is complemented by an excellent range of beers...I can confirm that they do the best pint of St Mungos anywhere!Itâs also a great venue for an introduction to gin/whisky tasting due to their varied selection. All aspects considered I find it difficult to argue against a top rating.

Having opened at 2 Alexander Street in November 2017, The Tipsy Cow offers brunch, lunch, dinner and drinks, all served in a refined surrounding using the best of local produce. Book your table today and come see what all the fuss is about.
Have been here twice so far and the food quality (and temperature and everything!) is really excellent. Absolutely recommend it, no question. Good ambience, comfortable place to go. We went on a Thursday night which was quite quiet , no real issues. Went again on Saturday afternoon and it was quite busy as you would expect. Everything seemed to take a bit longer than I expected even with a busy time - waited about 25 mins before being offered a drink (to be fair I had a table for two and my friend hadnât arrived yet, but I was surprised not to be approached at all whilst waiting), food took a little while although we didnât notice as we were blethering away, had to grab someone passing after a few attempts to order an extra side (and then got the wrong side), and had to give up waiting to pay our bill and go pay it at the bar so we could leave.Everyone was pleasant and I didnât really see it as an issue for the days I went: I would just not expect super swift service especially if itâs busy. If you go with that mindset youâll have a great time! And the food is lovely.

Gift form family for wedding anniversary dinner. Food was delicious and all staff were so pleasant and professional. Only little issue was the tables. We had a table for two and when sitting on the outside seat thereâs very little room between chairs and got bumped every time someone passed.
At Cafe Alba we offer a varied menu of quality fresh food that is excellent value for money, served by our friendly welcoming team. To ensure the high standards of dishes of which we are proud, we use as many Scottish products as possible; especially fish
While visiting my Mum in Airdrie I discovered Cafe Alba. It was great to see somewhere decent to eat in the town centre. Thought the menu was very good and nice staff.

Hotel was exactly what Iâd expected but slightly more expensive than Iâd have expected. Breakfast was lovely and great choice. Rooms can be quite noisy if there is a function on. Would recommend this hotel for visitors.

We went here to try it as it was under new management, well we were not disappointed it was fantastic. Starters were just the right amount we had pate and it was very tasty. The staff were fantastic very attentive bordering on overly at times. The main courses all were superb very well presented and tasty. We spotted someone with a drink and asked what it was looked good and was told it was a candy floss martini it had wrapped candy floss around the glass followed by the usual effects of a martini and oh my let's just say you have to try it.Half way through our night a singer came on in the bar area who was really good and created a fabulous atmosphere to Finnish of our night all in all great value great atmosphere and above all fab food just what you want for a night out

Have not been for a while so decided to try again. The service and food were fine for the money although the Indian food arrived on the cool side. The battered fish was very good but the chips were not great. Starters were good. When we went to pay they took away our £40 and we waited, and waited for our £7 change. Eventually we had to go to the bar and they had put it in their tip jar. We suspect a bit of a con going on here by the staff member at the bar who said she did not know what she was thinking.Don't like this one bit.Dear ssenitThank you for your review. Firstly let me say from the outset that we as a business do not operate a "con" as you put it in relation to "tips"It would appear from discussing this with the staff member involved you left more money than the amount of the bill. I apologise that the staff member assumed that this was a gratuity and I have advised them, that they must be more diligent when dealing with bills in future. I understand however that as soon as this matter was brought to their attention it was addressed immediately and an apology was given.Overall it appears your food was not an issue and given you opted to try it again, one might assume you had no issue the first time?Thank you for choosing to dine with us and should you wish to discuss this matter further please feel free to contact me at [email protected] Harty
