Canal Station, Paisley is a contemporary bar and restaurant located next to Paisley Canal Street railway station. Definitely the best place to eat in Paisley if youâre looking for first class dining with impeccable service. We are a superb venue for a qui
There are obviously staffing problems, which might explain the now restricted opening hours. To make things worse, it cannot even be relied upon to actually open at the advertised time. The location, and previous reputation of CS indicates that it should be a successful, thriving establishment. However, unless the obvious issues are addressed, then it is in danger of going the way of other pubs/diners in the area, which would be a shame.

I ordered the super salad with grilled veg and the blue cheese. What I received was ungrilled veg with salad smothered with salad cream. Worries me that the chef cant even grill some veg. The potato skins I ordered were also undercooked. I've been a customer here for many years. Poor quality. I was in a rush so didnt have the time to make a comment about it to staff. I didnt finish the meal. Kirs31, we regret to hear that you had a negative experience with us, but would appreciate the chance to turn your experience around. Tasty food and large portions. Chicken Nacho portion was huge! Halloumi was super tasty. Food was all in all perfect. Unfortunately, The Cocktails contained quite a lot of syrup which wasnât to great. Also for booking a table 8+ itâs £10pp deposit, which is understandable but I think a bit steep compared with most restaurants. However, it did soften the blow when it came to paying at the end! Every cloud has a silver lining. Would definitely eat here again!

Situated in Paisley town centre, Hamishesâ Hoose was opened with great fanfare in 1988 as a Traditional Bar/Restaurant. Our promise was (and still is) to provide: good, honest to goodness value for money; Food, Drink and the best Entertainment in the town
Recently visited with a large family group to celebrate mothers day. Everyone had a different dish and all of the food was cooked to perfection and was lovely. The only issue would be that we waited nearly 25 minutes for soft drinks and longer for alcohol due to how busy the restaraunt was. However this was not the fault of the staff and would definitely be back. Maybe more staff would help but this did not affect the food our quality of the food

The perfect place to enjoy a relaxing drink.
I'd only ever been here once before in the 1970's, when I believe it was a men-only pub. Then, smoking would've been allowed too. This time there was at least one woman there and there was no smoking inside, so big changes it seems!Very nice pint after a sample taste and I enjoyed the feel and warmth of the place.

Casual dinning burger bar where each burger has as many toppings that you choose. Generous portions with different sides, chicken wings and vegetarian options on offer for sit in our take away. In the evening the atmosphere changes with a weekly Quiz and
My wife and I ate here last week. We meant to only stay for late lunch and a couple of drinks but ended up staying most of the night. Great food with a better menu than before. Brilliant burgers and the loaded fries are amazing. Better now that the cooking isn't done in the bar as you dont leave smelling of food and grease. Great prices too. Good atmosphere and loved the music. The staff are brilliant too, really helpful, friendly and welcoming. Only downside is that the seating / layout isn't great, but overall a fantastic night. Cant wait to go back, thanks.

With eight televisions and two Sky boxes, The Craig Dhu allows sports fans to keep up to date with all the big fixtures. It's big on football, but also shows Formula One, rugby and other high-profile events. Additionally, there are televisions in the boot
Had the Sunday Roast and what a let down! Donât EVER expect much from Pub Grub . But PLEASE STOP serving this So Called Sunday Roast.Never seen anything like the Cold SLAB of Yorkshire Pudding. Heavy and thick. 2 slices of average beef, probably cut off of a piece of meat bought in. Frozen Greasy Auntie Bessieâs cooked in fat for quickness! Supermarket pre-pack veg. Had Sunday Roasts in Pubs down South to die for. Not a good impression for visitors to the town.Pub okay and had other average meals from the menu. But Sunday Roasts. Please, Please, Please !!!! If you canât put the effort in, DONT BOTHER!
