Cobbs at Nevisport is an all-day âFamily Friendlyâ Bistro Bar and Café and popular meeting place for locals and visitors alike.Located next to the historic site of the âOld Fortâ, our Bistro Bar combines style with the atmosphere of a friendly local pub.W
Probably wouldn't have chosen this from outside appearance but it was raining and there was no where else nearby. The interior of the bar was I can only say tired and dark with a dirty carpet. We ate upstairs as it was a little brighter. I then had to go back downstairs to order from the bar and was met by an unhelpful, rude barmaid. She seemed to feel I was interrupting her time with the loud and rather foul mouthed group of I would guess locals at the bar. However we were hungry and ordered anyway. She delivered our food at best I could say ungraciously. The food was OK and quite cheap. The toilets looked grubby with a large broken toilet roll holder with sharp edges. I am ashamed to think the many tourists around would think this is the best Scotland has to offer. We are very sorry you didn't have a good experience with us. We pride ourselves on our home cooked food and highland hospitality and are sorry you didn't feel this was up to standard on this particular day.

Great food, good beer and a relaxed atmosphere in our Traditional Alehouse & Restaurant located on Fort William's pedestrianised High Street.
I gave this place an average score based purely on the bar downstairs. The restaurant on the other hand was quite poorly organised. Firstly we waited around 15/20 mins for our order to be taken then when it arrived it was poorly presented and a very small portion, the food was tasteless and even though I left practically a full plate I wasn't even asked if there was anything wrong with my food. Don't think I'll be back.

We walked over from a nearby B&B a couple of times and were welcomed without a reservation. The dining room is attractively decorated and has a log fireplace. The staff is young, friendly, and competent. Both times we ate here the food was of good quality, well-prepared and (what I like best) piping hot!

At the Tavern a warm welcome, fantastic food and a great selection of wines, spirits, beers, soft drinks and coffee is always guaranteed!Located on Fort William High Street, the Tavern offers quality Gastropub style food. We offer lunch and evening meal m
Dropped in here for dinner without having booked but managed to get a table ok. We were seated and furnished with menus. Before long we had our order taken. The wife ordered chicken supreme and a meringue sundae. I ordered a prawn cocktail, penne carbonara and a sticky toffee pudding. The wife says the gluten free menu was not clear and the chicken supreme was not what she expected as it came out with bread crumbs. We had £6.91 taken off our bill. Also we were charged £3.00 for two pints of blackcurrant and water which we are used to paying £0.50 a pint in five star hotels which is effectively just a dash with water. We enjoyed our experience and will return. We would not hesitate to recommend the tavern to anyone.

Friendly and helpful staff. Good beers. Had vegetarian haggis with neeps and tatties which was lovely. Very reasonably priced. Decor is a little tired but friendliness of staff makes up for this.

The Lochy Bar and Restaurant is extremely popular with locals and visitors. We are located on the edge of Caol village and near Banavie, by the Caledonian Canal - perfect for visiting yachts and visitors staying in the area. Our family restaurant offers g
We were staying at The Lochy caravan site and took the 20 minute walk to the pub. Externally it didn't look promising, but once inside it was better. The decor is a bit jaded, however the staff were very friendly and helpful. My wife had the Mongolian beef curry, kids had fish goujons and chicken baguette with chips. I had the steak and black pudding pie. All plates were polished off, then onto puddings for all of us. Would definitely return if we are next in this part of Scotland.

We were expecting a cheap burger bar with cheap fish and other options. Pleasantly surprised, lovely smoked salmon starter, and haddock and chips were delicious. Best haddock Iâve had for a long time. It might be different in peak season but we found it extremely good. Well done guys

Traditional food with a twist and good beer plus a great atmosphere and a warming log fire. The haggis, neeps an tatties comes with a cream sauce. Tasty but I prefer minus the cream however it was well presented. The soup was delicious and the haggis melt drew plus marks. Good place and friendly staff.
