Had lunch fresh food not frozen hand made chips what can I say excellent friendly little place good service very busy that says it all highly recommend the steak pie 10/10 for every thing a real hidden gem and not expensive we had a two course meal and only cost £11.00 for 2 people drinks on top of that but only £2. Something for 2 cans not over priced highly recommended
myself and eight of my family were in chanders today for meals and drinks and from ordering and leaving everything was first class the meals and the staff were as friendly and helpful as anyone could ask many thanks and keep up the good wirk

Stood for over 5 minutes at a quiet time waiting to be seated and had to walk over to find someone. Waiter gave us a moment to order then forgot to come back. Waiter brought the wrong dessert but this was rectified. Waitress was made up for Halloween which was a nice touch although a bit early, however removed my dessert plate before Iâd finished eating it. She was apologetic and offered us tea or coffee. Weâd already had coffee so it would have been nice if this had been removed from the bill. The staff were very pleasant, however. The food was great which is why this review attracts 4 stars. The burger was really tasty, chips were fine. The nachos were hand made and fresh tasting. The Pepsi Max was on free refills (always a bonus) which suited me. The desserts were awesome and we canât wait to go back for more next time weâre in town.

If you are expecting Cordon Bleu then might be disappointed. The menu is not extensive, and that for me, is a plus point. It is good honest pub grub. Too many place go overboard. SO, don't dismiss this as an eatery. The food is excellent and the portions are huge and if that doesn't seem enough, the prices are good too. You can eat in the bar, or in the more formal dining room. Drinks are available and the choice is reasonable though not overwhelming. There is a good view up and down the river, and on a warm night, there are tables outside. The décor is fresh and it also offers accommodation.

A wee impromptu Date night since our Children were otherwise engaged. Happy Days!! We were after a wee drink and some nice food and definitely wasnât let down . Busy pub and the waiting staff very efficient and helpful with the odd Laugh being had along the way. We sat at the back door as we thought it there would be a nice breeze. But when the sun went down it was a little chilly. Not the pubs fault as itâs the entry to the beer garden. Great pub, great food and fantastic Staff.

Recently visited with friends for some food and drinks. Staff very helpful and attentive, food choice very good and quality good also - food was piping hot!Drinks selection good and reasonably priced cocktails, it is busy and they don't take reservations so be a little patient and you will get a table at busy times.

Great family run village pub.Fabulous food with a family friendly atmosphere. Fantastic menu and value for money.
Went here for meal on the spur of the moment Easter Sunday, got a table no problem. Had a drink first, lovely boe violet gin garnished beautiful and a pint of lager just over 6 pounds. Served quickly. Garlic mushrooms to start larger portion to share, good quality. I ordered roast of the day which was beef I asked for roast potatoes only, no problem Yorkshire pudding cabbage and carrots and lots of meat cost around 7 pound, delicious. Partner had steak with garlic prawns and chips. Really delicious meal glad to see the couple have returned from Spain and the meals are excellent. Great prices and well cooked. Thank you for your great review. So good to hear that you popped in and enjoyed your meal and your visit. Thank you.

The Burnbrae Bearsden is traditional yet delivers modern standards with the highest level of quality food allied with subtle yet attentive table service. Being very popular with locals, The Burnbrae serves a vast range of Cask Ales, Premium imported Lager
After getting the news that I'd been offered a new job, myself and my husband were looking for somewhere local for an impromptu celebration meal. Being in the area and remembering a recommendation by a member of staff in Waitrose, we decided to try out the Burnbrae. Walked in to find a roaring log fire and a really cosy pub atmosphere, not too busy as it was just before dinner time, but lots of attentive staff. I went for the rump steak and hubby went for steak sandwich, didn't realise that on Thursday if you order two meals from the grill menu, you get a bottle of wine free (we had already ordered beers and were driving so asked if we can take the bottle home, which we were told was absolutely fine!) Drinks came quickly, wheat beer on tap and the food shortly after, weren't disappointed, steak was well seasoned and done to our requests! Despite it getting busier the staff weren't pushed to get us out of our seats and we had a nice, relaxed evening. Now that we've been once, we'll definitely go back! We're happy to hear you had such a positive experience with us! We hope to see you soon!

Went along to see family members who come here regularly at lunchtime and was happy I did. Smart interior, friendly staff and a good menu. On this occasion I went with the BLT sandwich which was very good, served with a good portion of chips and tasty coleslaw. A couple of desserts were ordered and new one on us was cinnamon tortillas beautifully presented and served with ice cream and toffee sauce. Enough for everyone to get a taste. Definitely worth a visit at lunchtime.

Bar & Restaurant in Old Kilpatrick. Serving great homemade food, great atmosphere & banter!
Popped in here today for the first time after walking over the Erskine Bridge with our adopted dog (looking after MIL dog for a few weeks) and have to say I was really impressed!!! Lovely food and great service and I loved how they were so welcoming to our wee doggies ......... fresh bowl of water brought over for our Molly with some wee dog treats too, lovely touch!! We ate in the bar area (where dogs are permitted) but full menu available. Food is freshly made to order and I was impressed with the service of food, not rushed at all ~ very relaxed but prompt service. Certainly worth a walk over the bridge for sure ;-) KK xxHi UkSunlover. Thank you very much for your great 5 star review. Great Molly enjoyed herself to. Hopefully we get some decent weather and we will see you again. Thanks again G
