Fabulous Tuesday Treat, staff very welcoming & friendly throughout. We opted for a Hawaiian pizza & an Il Capriccio pizza - both freshly stretched pizza dough, ample toppings & just right amount of cheese to sauce. 2 optional sides, wonderful crispy fries & an insalata mista, washed down with 2 glasses of wine & change out of £30.00Thereâs a deal if there was one..

Had good value lunch which was adequate enough but the staff (all two of them) from the first encounter entering the restaurant were surly bordering on rude and dismissive. It really appeared to inconvenience them that we had come for lunch. They had zero personality and no bonhomie. Really off putting and really made us question our recent recommendation to friends to eat there never mind go back ourselves

We enjoyed our visit to Leonardos whose Sunday menu at 2 courses for under £15 is very good value. Children dine for an incredible £5 for their meal. The food is good home cooked fayre with a wide range of starters and mains. The mussels looked good and the mushrooms tasted fine. The soup was also piping hot and served with nice crusty bread. Bruschetta as expected.Wine prices were good and water was served upon request. Our main dishes were also tasty. Cannelloni with spinach and Riccotta. Chicken Diane. Pasta pomodoro. Generous servings of Parmesan and fresh pepper. We were too satisfied for desserts but enjoyed fine black coffee with complimentary biscuit. A mint accompanied the very reasonable bill. Our only gripe was the speed with which we were ushered through. Our daughters soup was offered to be removed long before she had finished eating it! Good service is one thing but this was just too rushed. The welcome at the reception desk could also have been a bit warmer.

A small Italian restaurant serving delicious, freshly made, authentic Italian food.
My husband and I travelled from Ayr (around 45 minutes) to this restaurant after reading so many 5 star reviews on here. Being 38 weeks pregnant and finding most menus donât cater for pregnant ladies I was happy when I saw the menu online and so we booked for our wedding anniversary meal.On arrival we were slightly disheartened by the appearance of the building itself, lacked âpavement appealâ with stubbed our cigarettes and litter at the entrance as well as an abundance of flies as you walked in the front door- however, we continued into the building hopeful we would be surprised. The smell of stale smoke and beer was not great as the pub joining the restaurant which was crowded with loud drunk men caught our attention. As we made our way into the restaurant area on the left hand side which was dull and uninviting we were directed to the furthest away table - directly below a speaker which was playing very loud dance music. The seats and tables were dirty with crumbs and sticky marks. The menu was presented to us and appeared shabby and much less inviting than what we had seen online - the same content only on a sheet of A4 paper. We were directed to some specials which were scribbled on a whiteboard with a marker pen on the other side of the restaurant. As this was a special occasion we decided against eating in this establishment- we paid for our drinks and left. I would like to think we would have been pleasantly surprised by the food if we had decided to stay- however I dread to think about the presentation of the kitchen when I consider the restaurant itself. Very disappointing considering the âglowingâ reviews which worryingly do not match our experience in the slightest.Dear Emma HI am very surprised and disappointed firstly that trip advisor allowed this review considering that you did not even dine or allow our service team to give you a great experience. Yes our little restaurant may not be The Ritz however as you have seen by our TA ranking the other 125 5 star reviews cannot be wrong. They also by the way had the common courtesy of at least trying a dish. Giving a small suburban establishment a 1 star review without giving them a chance is disgraceful. The pub next door is what you would expect from a pub on a Saturday night meaning Emma people are enjoying themselves. I also see many other establishments all over the globe are getting the 1 star treatment in your reviews. I really donât think much would please you Emma and I would put on record for other restaurants to be aware of TA reviews you post in the future. My chefs and service staff did not deserve this.Regards Derek

What a find in this little town - lovely friendly and attentive service by the young woman front of house; super smooth glass of house red (a fruity Merlot); and great fresh food. Glorious plump mussels weâre on the 2-course lunch special with either white wine or tomato sauce & a slice of garlic bread. The creamy spinach & ricotta cannelloni was a treat. Large portion topped off with fresh basil. If youâre in Hamilton this place would be great for lunch or dinner.

Staff were friendly and welcoming and drinks arrived quickly. The menu has been refreshed and some familiar dishes have a fresh twist. My haggis arancini were delicious as were the other starters of scallops, Brie and minestrone.I ordered penne Arabiatta and asked for tuna to be added along with excellent extra chilli and it was excellent. My mother-in-laws salmon was beautifully cooked and the pizzas had lots of fresh toppings. Despite the large portions we managed to squeeze in desserts and again all we lovely. This place never disappoints.

Went Sunday lunchtime without a reservation...surroundings a bit bleak and shuttered then, but inside small smart restaurant, almost full, with welcoming and attentive staff. Large menu including dishes of the day, and extensive 2 course set menu for £16 something. Our party of 4 had very good minestrone, lasagne( âexcellentâ), rigatoni, pork dish of the day( pork bit tough to cut but ok to eat with lots of sauce and separate pots/veg), a vegan veg stew and chips...generous Parmesan offerings, bread and butter etc. Small car park opposite. Would recommend.

Cicchettiâ inspired dining with a Scottish and Italian fusion. Brunch spot in the morning. Wood fired pizzas.
Had our second visit to Boh on Friday evening and the restaurant was very busy. The food was as good as the first time and the attention received from the staff was excellent. There is a reasonably priced early evening meal and a good children's menu. So whatâs not to like!
