We had another amazing vezir banquet here. This is one of the best restaurants in Aberdeen. Being vegetarian, this simply never disappoints. Hot and cold dishes, all bursting with so many delicious flavours. We had excellent service during a busy lunch time sitting. Credit to everyone involved in making this a fantastic visit.

The most striking thing about this place is the service. I honestly donât think Iâve experienced better service. The staff are ultra attentive and thoughtful about their approach. The food is good and they have great wines. Iâve been before and will happily go back.

Ate here recently. First up our server was really nice and she was on the ball. Firstly the bread was fresh but plain sliced white supermarket bread. The tomato salad was fresh and exactly as described. For starters we shared a Hungarian Village Welcoming and Pancake of Hortobagyi Art, both were very good, the chicken pancake in particular. My piping hot beef goulash with spot on saute potatoes was really fine too and the mushroom goulash was very flavourful. The pork schnitzel and fries disappeared off the plate very quickly. We are unlikely to be frequent visitors but have nothing to complain about either.

I have wanted to come here for a while, and the meal we had was OK. I just thought it could have been done with a bit more finesse. It was ok, not great.

A warm Scottish failte to 'Angus & Ale', Aberdeen. Our beef is dry aged on the bone for a minimum of 28 days which guarantees melt-in-the-mouth, juicy burgers. 100% Angus beef. No bull!
Had high hopes for this place, read the reviews and thought it sounded fab, the service was good and I liked the atmosphere, nice music and decor, I had Cullen skink for starter which was delicious and my boyfriend had the pate which he enjoyed but said the amount of bread you get compared to the slab of pate was ridiculous. Mains were two burgers, I had the buttermilk chicken burger which was almost too big to comfortably eat and honestly I wasnât impressed, it was crunchy to the point of breaking your teeth and had that burnt floury taste. I had also asked for no chipotle mayo but got it anyway and there was a massive pickle on top of the bun which is not mentioned on the menu, this is a huge pet hate of mines. The taste of pickle on the bun was off-putting. The beef burger was TINY compared to the bun but massively thick which meant that it was quite pink in the middle which my partner does not like. Perhaps flattening the burgers a little would make for a more enjoyable and presentable meal? Also the chips were naff. Overall not worth the £50 it cost us. I hate to leave a negative review of a local business, but I feel like this place has the potential to be something amazing and letâs itself down on the little things.

Bountiful, delicious breakfast. Beautiful, classy dining room with white tablecloths - yes I still appreciate linens. I enjoyed the best lamb chops of my trip and there were 4 of them, cooked to perfection (pink throughout). My husband enjoyed the lobster thermador, also too generous with both halves of the lobster. Good wine selection. Expensive, but certainly worth every bite.

Have just had an excellent tasting meal with wine flight from the Loire area. Can only say full marks to the chef and front of house staff. Whole meal was very good and for me the sea bream was beautiful and the duck was fabulous.Having not been for some time, however, we will be back soon.

Stopped in at 2.55 on a Friday afternoon, wasnât sure if still serving lunch. Owner/manager was really friendly, had promised his chef a break but checked and chef was happy to stay back. Delicious home made soup, sandwiches were packed full of tasty fillings, served with side salad, dressing and vegetable crisps. Super fast service, friendly, relaxed atmosphere. We were enroute to cinema so the quick turnaround was exactly what we were after. Fantastic value and looking forward to going back!

Very good and blows away its competitors along the promenade. Sadly itâs very busy at peak times. Which is a good sign. Good no nonsense food. Great staff.
