I am a tour guide in Scotland and I was doing a 3 day tour in the Highlands and Isle of Skye with my clients. I always go for lunch to the Orasay tearoom in Uig and I bring my clients there. However, I received very bad customer service from the tearoom owner's daughter.I ordered a sandwich, then she told me she did not have this type anymore as one of my clients chose the same type of sandwich, then I ordered another type and she brought the new order as well as the old order which she had told me they were out of. Anyway, I told her I did not order 2 sandwiches for myself, I obviously ordered one after I was told they were out of my first choice. She kept telling me in front of my clients that it was my fault, that the sandwich was already prepared in the kitchen and that she has to serve it. While I understand that there was a miscommunication, it was the way she behaved with me as a loyal client who brings in business. I am not going to come anymore to this business as I was really frustrated from the service that was provided to me and my clients.

Very large selection of gifts with all things Scottish . Merchandise made of Harris Tweed and a nice little coffee shop with scones and baked goods . There is a nice walking path that starts at the end of the drive in the car park .

Three of us called in for lunch. We were made very welcome. The tomato and basil soup was lovely and filling. The coffee and homemade cakes were equally good. An excellent place for lunch.

Me and the wife had used the restaurant last year and were delighted with the food and service. Now that it is just a takeaway, we were still looking forward to some pizzas this time round. What a disappointment it turned out to be. Garlic focaccia was ordered and it just seemed to be undercooked pizza dough with a smear of garlic. Terrible. The pizzas were a let down too as the toppings were non existent and they forgot to add other extra toppings. Will not be using this place again.

Artisan, freshly ground coffee, tea, highland baking and a warm welcome all in a stunning yurt at Skyeskyns, Waternish, Isle of Skye. Open daily 10:30 am - 4:30 pm throughout the summer season.
We had coffee and cake here that were to a high standard although at a price (£12.70). Considering this isnât a âbig city establishmentâ these prices were rather high, however they did allow dogs into the Yurt, so some bonus. However they donât allow dogs in Skye Skyns factory or the shop.Thank you for your review and we hope you enjoyed your visit. We do our best to price our goods equitably and keep them low compared to other Skye establishment. The shop and the tannery are not suitable environments for dogs but they are always welcome in the Yurt!

We came upon Columba by chance on route to flodigarry, we returned several times, the range of food was excellent, every dietary want catered for. Our hotel chef should visit. Warm, welcoming staff with an amazing ethos. Thank you for your hospitality. We enjoyed sitting in your very unusual building. A true gem.
