A quirky neighbourhood hangout serving speciality coffee & delicious dishes with ingredients sourced from local artisan producers.
Went here for breakfast. Asked to order food and drinks at the same time and we were told we could only order drinks and had to wait to order food (!?). Anyway, ordered tea, coffee and a fruit juice and waited around 20 mins for these to arrive. Finally, we ordered food. 2 breakfast rolls. These took around 1 HOUR to arrive!!!! We were absolutely starving! We overheard other customers asking where their food was too, so we were definitely not the only ones! There seemed to be plenty of staff so unsure why there was such a delay, most likely due to poor organisation. When food arrived it was very average. Ended up getting drinks taken off the bill which was a bonus but not worth the wait! Should have just left. Will not be returning and would not recommend this cafe. Heather,Iâm sorry but no-one has ever had to wait an hour for food at Utopia, thatâs simply just not true. You were informed you werenât able to order food because the kitchen was already overwhelmed, and this and only this is the reason why your food was delayed. Best,Kevin

I had been recommended this cafe by a friend from Edinburgh, tired from a long, but beautiful train journey from Edinburgh, with a heavy rucksack, Nourish was a comfort!! Such a relaxing place with a warm welcome and friendly vibe. All the food looked good but decided wanted sweet rather than savoury, so opted for Rhubarb and ginger cake two favourite ingredients of mine, along with a flat white coffee. I was able to relax and enjoy without being rushed. Infact although I was missing the start if the Gathering Festival, ny main reason for travelling to Inverness from Preston, I decided I wanted to stay longer! So a pot of tea, then nipped in Leakys Bookshop just up from Nourish. Thank you, a special place recommended to escape the hustle and bustle, and just be!

With fine views across the Beauly Firth to Inverness, this is a small, quiet cafe, with kind staff and a great snack menu. The bacon rolls are generous and the coffee excellent, with free refills. An ideal stopping place to watch the world go by!

We called in for an early lunch after hearing many good reports about Girvans. Always a good idea to book or get there early as it isn't very big and consequently fills up very quickly. Bright, welcoming place with friendly, efficient staff and clean toilets. Food excellent, as was the coffee, The pancakes, bacon and maple syrup is particularly recommended though the pastries are hard to resist. Excellent menu overall.

Three of us had breakfast here today, one vegetarian and two traditional Scottish. Service was bright and professional and the quality of the breakfasts made a great start to our day. We were pleased to see that a choice of toast and basic tea and coffee were included in the price - an eminently sensible approach. I am not at all surprised to hear that it can be difficult to get a table here. Iâm happy to recommend the Rendezvous Cafe and tempted to go back for seconds tomorrow morning.Thank you for your genuine feedback it means a lot to us !

Love love love this place, its rammed and people waiting to eat and I can now see why. What u see if what you get, there are no airs and graces but it's just perfect as it's full of locals and amazing atmosphere.Massive menu which makes it hard to pick what you want and they have amazing choices. The staff are lovely and run off their feet, if u sit a messy don't stress as its cleared quickly. We did not order the famous breakfast but it looked amazing. I ordered the seafood plater what an amazing meal it was packed full of taste and one of the biggest meals I've had in years. The food is cooked to order so expect a small wait even if it's a long it's well worth it. Husband had steak pie which was also massive, as for the chips they very chunky chips and yum. This is well worth a visit and right up our street, and if it's full of locals then you know it's good. Prices are great for what you get, you really can't go wrong coming here. Thanks comfort foods cafe I'm one happy bunny right now

Service was a bit hit and miss the day we went in but not altogether shambolic - I guess being next to the bus station they get a high turnover of customers and some want away quickly. Ordered the pastrami, gherkin sandwich expected a âreubenâ style but was a bit let down by the pastrami, gherkin and cheese âtoastieâ. The soup bowls are really big portions so careful ordering more on top of soup unless going for a combo. Lesson of the day - if itâs not a Reuben on the menu, itâs not a Reuben on the plate. My bad.....

Popular cafe in the heart of inverness. We focus on speciality coffee, breakfast and brunch, using nothing but the highest quality ingredients. We use the stunning Victoria Arduino Black Eagle alongside some unforgettable coffee roasted by Square Mile.
Been quite a few times but only for coffee (and occasional cake) both are delicious, and they even do oatley for those who don't take dairy. The food always looks good so will need to come back one day for a lunch, based on the reviews I won't be disappointed. Great location, in town centre, yards from train station. A must!
