Other than to say this place is awesome and served us the best sandwiches weâve had in a very very very long time. The brown sourdough is so good I cannot describe it, homemade soups both perfect. Coffee also the best Iâve had for ages and the empire biscuit and lemon cake we carried out also superb. Highly recommend.
Arriving early for a nearby funeral, popped in for a coffee and breakfast roll plonked upon the table without a word being spoke. Staff were in the cafe part having their own breakfast and seemed none too happy to be disturbed. Truly awful coffee and a very average roll. No welcome. No please or thank you and no farewell greetings. Under previous management this was a great cafe serving excellent coffees and ice cream and very friendly service.

Super busy place especially on a nice day, weekends or during the holidays. Fantastic deli and shop area. Opted for a late brunch from the menu. Considering all of the wonderful food in the shop I was expecting something much better. Bacon was super salty and very fatty, sausage was okay and black pudding tasted very odd almost offputting. Will try again for lunch maybe breakfasts aren't their forte ?Thank you so much for coming to Ardardan, and for taking the time to write about your experience of your visit. We are always delighted to hear from visitors, and your feedback is really helpful and appreciated. Food is a great passion of ours and we are delighted that you saw this coming through in the range of products we have in our farm shop. In our tearoom we pride ourselves on providing simple but super tasty food using the best ingredients we can, and served by great and friendly people. We can't apologise enough that you didn't love the breakfast that you had, and we must and will take this on board and make sure we keep our standards up and as consistent as we can. We really hope that you do decide to pop in again to try other bits and bobs from our freshly prepared homemade menu and that you thoroughly enjoy them if you do. Thank you again for coming, The Montys & Team at Ardardan.

Excellent new cafe. Teas, coffee, baking, light meals, soup, different types of sandwiches, paninis etc. Food is of high standard. Service is good and staff welcoming and friendly. Our church met in the Hub while the church building was being renovated. The cafe was open for us and many of the church stayed for a light lunch after the service. Since then this is a must go cafe for us.The cafe looks out onto an open landscaped area and, on sunny days, there are a couple of tables outside.Prices are very reasonable and I would recommend this for anyone seeking a bite to eat in comfortable surroundings.

Came here after walking around the Oak Mall and not finding anything that looked good. The menu is a mix of standard American and British cafe dishes and there's a pretty good range of options to choose from for a vegetarian. Inside, the the decorations are very much Italian influenced in style with a mix of wooden chairs and cushioned seating.Service was prompt, actually a little too prompt and had to ask for a couple of minutes to decide. When the waitress did take my order, it was friendly and efficient. My Mocha came first and it was a delight. I didn't actually ask for cream, but they put it on top of my coffee anyway and it was a pleasant surprise. Not only did it look fantastic, it tasted fantastic too. The mocha was made with chocolate powder which I always prefer over chocolate syrup. Then came my order of Egg Florentine. Served pretty much as the classic dish with the added bonus of good presentation. Really nicely cooked eggs, cooked through more than usual, but still enough runny yolk to get soaked up by the buns and spinach. and topped with Hollandaise sauce. Unusually, there was side portion of fresh tomatoes with pesto.Would definitely come back the next time I'm in Greenock.
Love the food here..great breakfasts and lunches. Different specials each day too. Would recommend trying all of them

Stopped in at the cafe for breakfast. There service was fast and friendly. We had a great table with beautiful views of the river Clyde and beyond.I had a full breakfast with a pot of tea. The highlight of the bteakfast for me is the Stornoway black pudding. My wife had scrambled egg on toast the portion was large. My son went for sausages and egg. All in all it was a great breakfast. We really enjoyed the cafe and we will be back.

The coffee, soup and scones in Fresh, Greenock Oak Mall are good. The decor is pleasant, tables are cleaned regularly and the staff are friendly and efficient. Lots of customers seemed to be opting for the soup and sandwich deal or Mac & Cheese. These all looked nice and all the recipients seemed happy with their choices. Obviously itâs a busy place between 12-2 given the Council offices next door, but staff seem well organised and able to cope.

Came here based on TA reviews and wasnât disappointed. The venue is open and spacious and if Iâm honest well finished from what I saw.The staff are friendly and welcoming, the menu has something for everyone I would say. I had the Pasta Pesto and it was good, very tasty and a good portion, maybe some bread on the side would have been nice but no complaints from meYes, I would recommend and would come again!

This was our Sunday must do for SIX years. Then it went sadly down the slippery slope.Last two visits our food was cremated. The cook smokes (her choice) but shouldn't be wearing her apron outside whilst doing so.Nor should she enter the washroom wearing it. So unhygienic. We are very disappointed to read your review, especially given the fact that you have been such a regular with us. We would love the opportunity to investigate further and have relayed your feedback to our team. Please do get in touch on [email protected] where we would hope to further assist.
