My wife and I have been in this cafe several times for lunch and visited again today for some food. We ordered sandwiches and coffees which arrived very quickly and were to their usual high standard. However, whilst sitting in the express café we noted that the girl making up the sandwiches was using her hands to remove various sandwich fillings without recourse to any implements. On previous visits we had noted that plastic gloves were always used for both hygiene reasons and also to prevent cross contamination which I support and encourage wholeheartedly.

I visitd this place with my girlfriend, we tried salmon sandwich which was great and cheddar apricot chutney sandwich which was good, a bit more chutney would be great. We also tried a few types of cakes which were also very nice. The atmosphere was peacuful and comfortable.
Great family run cafe in Alloa. The soup is great and the Chinese buffet is great to. There's all you can eat breakfast, but not tried that yet. Will soon. Highly recommend going for a wee munch.
This has always been a busy shop with workmen picking up there snacks and lunch . Serving hot food and cold with a superb range of sandwiches which can be made up as you wait . The Pies and Bridies are simply superb hot or cold . But my personal favourite is the Apple pie in shell pastry filled with apple and succulent . ....outstanding!

Morrisons Cafe in Alloa is clean and the staff friendly and helpful. My only criticism is the scones. I went there with a friend and we both chose to have the scones but they were so dry, they simply crumbled as you tried to spread them. This is not just an Alloa issue; it's a Morrissons one as the same happened in the Stirling store. Perhaps the recipe needs changed to make the experience better. I've also had meals there and I have not been disappointed with them at all. So, once the scone issue is sorted, I'd give Morrisons Cafe in Alloa an exceelent rating.

I came here with a friend and had a very nice lunch. They serve a variety of breakfast options, soup, baked potatoes, sandwiches, toasties, paninis and wraps. I had a panini with roasted vegetables and mozzarella. It came with a dressed side salad, coleslaw and tortilla chips. It was very tasty and, together with a can of juice, cost £5. Good table service from friendly staff. They also offer gluten free options. They had a range of cakes on display too. Thank you for your lovely review! We are so glad that you enjoyed your lunch at Makers!Kind regards,Nicole

Was a baking hot day and we decided to have a pit stop here. What a great decision. My partner and I had Lavender Lemonades and the children had a couple of Ice Cream Floats. Just the ticket on a hot day. We also tried the home made custard creams and they were epic! I can highly recommend this place. Fantastic service as well.
