This used to be called Cafe Coffee but has recently been refurbised and renamed.
This is a great cafe where the staff are very welcoming and friendly, giving excellent service. My Mum and I had delicious toasties with tasty salad and awesome home made coleslaw. Next time we will try the cakes as they looked fresh and tempting in the cabinet. We highly recomend this place in Newmarket St for lunch.

We enjoyed our overnight stay with dinner, bed and breakfast and also afternoon tea (only complaint is the cheap white bread used for the sandwiches and also same for the toast at breakfast) We had a lovely sea view from Room 8 - just the plumbing needs some attention in this room otherwise all fine. Friendly staff and good service all round.

A modern looking hotel and restaurant somewhat tucked away on the main road. Plenty of parking and an outside seating area. We followed the signs to the carvery and were seated fairly quickly. We were presented with the 2 or 3 course lunch with reasonable options including the carvery that we chose after a wait. A cheery chef carved us generous portions of meat and we helped ourselves to vegetables. The Yorkshire puddings were a bit tough. It's very popular and service runs for several hours.

We both visited this fairly large Wetherspoon's on the 30th, the tasteful decor was about aviation/golf, staff were pleasant and helpful, the toilets, were also tastefully decorated and very clean were unusually on th level so no up and down stairs.

Warm, inviting, relaxed and personal dining.
We have stumbled upon this great little restaurant. Iâve had breakfast which was made to order, lunch and now dinner. The service is good. Ambience nice. The food excellent!!! I had asked again for something not on the menu, they actually met my request and delivered my favourite pud, macaroons... delicious, thank you! It was busy with two large groups but this did not impact on the service or quality of our experience. It is rare to feel totally one hundred percent happy after a meal. My standards are reasonably high but I get sick of poor service and mediocre food when I know I can present a meal at a better standard, for a fraction of the cost. This restaurant is certainly achieving everything I require and I can recommend it highly. The monkfish starter was just delicious. My husbands steak was cooked, as he likes to perfection, melting in his mouth.

Visited here again and we were not disappointed. Staff really friendly and food excellent. Be warned though, food portions are very generous, so you might want to go for a smaller or two smaller options.

We've been busy putting the finishing touches to our new Mediterranean-influenced menu, with authentic pizzas from the wood-burning stove, the ever-popular spicy marinated chicken from the Churrasco Grill and heavenly patisseries from our Bakehouse. When
As with all Buzzworks, can't really fault the style / ambience of Lido,. Service on the night was ok. The food quality is reasonable enough however the portions are smallish and prices higher than you would expect. Mixed tempura to start at circa £8, no prawns with it, 8 pieces with 3 being veg. Burgers are small. My wife had the vegan lasagne which was basically 2 layers of pasta with some sauce/veg in a skillet that must have been 3 inches across, all for £13 with a side salad that was 3 leaves and half a tomato.£7 for chocolate fudge cake with a small slice of cake split into 2 on the plate to make it look bigger.Lovely place for a special night no doubt, but you had better be prepared for the bill.

Attended with friends for lunch. Canât really fault the food. Portion sizes not great but taste and presentation was good. Found the establishment itself very claustrophobic, small, and very noisy. Could hear everyoneâs conversation around you. Would be a very frustrating place if you wanted to go and chill out with a coffee and read the paper.....unless there was no one else in.
