The Old Bridge Inn, Aviemore, offers a roaring log fire and cheerful atmosphere along with excellent food and a fine selection of cask ales and malt whiskies. It has always been a favourite haunt for those who enjoy the outdoors, while friendly staff and
Popped in for a few drinks on the way back to our hotel. In the main, the staff were pleasant although one chap was a little abrupt whereas the others all seemed to be enjoying their jobs.I'm not sure I would want to eat here though as I witnessed a few of the team petting dogs and handling a water bowl for dogs and they didn't appear to wash their hands before handling food and drinks.

The Druie takes its name from the burn(river) that rushes behind the restaurant and always seems in a hurry to carry clear, sparkling mountain water from the Cairngorms to the River Spey. We are open daily 9.30am - 5.00pm for locally roasted coffee, local
is part of the estate and located next to the shop. cosy and snug atmosphere. well visited with comfy furniture. staff is very friendly and efficient. opted for the Cullen slink and a salmon sandwich. the soup was delicious and well filled. the sandwich made of chunky bread and well filled. not a cheap place but well worth the money.

This is a fairly traditional restaurant - nothing fancy, but certainly clean and with attentive and pleasant staff. The menu has a good choice and the portion size was generous. The food was tasty and we both enjoyed every bight. The only thing I could find issue with was that the chips could have done with a little longer in the fryer! We enjoyed our meal and felt it was maybe just a little over-priced for what it is, although not excessively so.I'd definitely recommend and would return.

regular fresh food now with gluten free bread options which now means we don't just have to have salad! Really super helpful staff especially the manager who goes out of his way to please the customers, this is the second most important part of a food experience. For the price, and convenience you cannot complain. This is the way things should be!

Called in after a day of driving for two breadcrumbed fish suppers. Fish not as big as I had hoped but quality was okay. Price however of £8.80 per Supper was on the steep side. Never paid £17.60 for two tahke away suppers before anywhere!Good morning, I am sorry you found prices expensive. We do However pride ourselves in great quality and that comes at a cost to us also. We have an extensive menu with lots of cheaper options but I'm afraid that's just the price for a fish supper here in the highlands. We hope you enjoyed your meals though and would love to welcome you back again next time xx

An established cafe/restaurant in Carrbridge. Serving Breakfast and lunches as well as freshly ground coffees and delicious home made cakes. Wherever possible our produce is locally sourced and all freshly prepared by Kate and her "Kitchen" team
This was my first visit to Carrbridge Kitchen though it did come highly recommended. I was greeted warmly and seated near the stove which was a bonus as Iâd been outside all morning. I was spoiled for choice on the menu and went for the (recommended) tomato, cabbage and bean soup accompanied by a panini. Both were delicious and I have to say it was possibly the best panini I have ever had. I also had a good coffee. I would definitely go back to try something else although Iâm not in the area for long. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

WelcomeWhether you've something to celebrate, are at the end of a hard day's walking in the hills, or simply fancy a break from cooking at home, it is our wish at Anderson's that you all feel welcome. Forget pretence, the atmosphere here is relaxed and in
My wife and I repeatedly tried for a table here to no avail during our week long stay, we finally secured one on the last night of our 7-night stay and couldn't see what all the fuss was about. The atmosphere in the restaurant wasn't particularly friendly and if anything was a bit pretentious.Their pizetta starter was a complete joke like a tasteless square served at a kids party. The Salmon main was beautifully presented but again disappointing and bland.
