Exclusive Highland Retreat & Spa with extensive grounds, private beach and panoramic sea-views. Can accommodate 15 people for a special occasion or individual rooms available for short stays.
The hotel is in a beautiful secluded spot by the Loch side. Our stay was made even better by the fabulous weather. We enjoyed using the spa as the views from the outdoor hot tub were amazing. After a delicious dinner it was only surpassed by breakfast by the Loch the following morning.

Kinloch Lodge is a special place. It is somewhere to escape the noise and speed of modern life. Somewhere to relax and recharge, where you can take things at your own pace. The Isle of Skye is frequently, justly described as one of the most spectacular places on earth. Kinloch is in a particularly beautiful part of the island: down a long drive, at the foot of a mountain and at the head of Loch na Dal. Here you will find some of Scotland’s best food, roaring fires, whisky on tap and giant beds. It can be hard to leave. Kinloch Lodge was the Macdonald family home where Godfrey and Claire raised four children (and countless beloved dogs). They opened the doors of their home as a hotel with the intention of welcoming guests as they would do through their own front door. This spirit of heartfelt family hospitality was pioneering at the time and has not changed. Today Kinloch is run by their daughter Isabella Macdonald
Set in a beautifully maintained old country house on the edge of a lock, we enjoyed a brilliant tasting menu - set price of £75. We arrived early and had a few drinks in the cosy bar before being taken into the impressive dining room overlooking the loch, decorated with enormous historic paintings of noteable Scottish people. Service and food was great - the most formal dining experience we had on the island, but not as stuffy as equivalent London restaurants. A few families were eating at the same time and we noticed that children's options were offered too. Coffee and sweet treats the perfect way to end a delicious meal. Definitely recommend for a spot of luxury during your Skye trip!

Located in the Greshornish peninsula in the North West of the Isle of Skye, we are ideally situated for exploring the Isle of Skye, being only 25 minutes from Portree on the East, 15 minutes from Dunvegan on the West and 40 minutes from Uig on the North. The approach to Redwood House, a quiet family run business, is via a 2 mile single track road, skirting the shoreline, with sheep and lambs roaming freely. Look carefully and you may see a Buzzards or other bird of prey in this remote part of Scotland. Once here, its time to start to relax and enjoy the quiet and the breath taking views of Greshornish Loch which may include the occasional otter, seal or heron. Redwood House, your Scottish escape is just waiting for you.
Great location and great rooms with great views. We had a courtyard cottage, which had plenty of space, and our daughter stayed in a room looking straight onto the loch. Staff were welcoming and food was lovely.

We stayed here for 2 night and couldn't fault it. Site was clean and the facilities spotless. The site has a good size playpark and seems to have resident ducks and rabbits running about which was nice to see. Is easy walking distance into the town. We will be back.

Guest House offering; 19 en suite bedrooms, Pet friendly Disabled accommodation, Hot/cold buffet breakfast, Single, double and family rooms.
Hans gave us good welcome and we had a good sized room overlooking the garden. We arrived by train and the station is just a couple of minutes walk from the hotel. There was lots of choice for a hot breakfast and proper bread for toast. There was a open fire in the communal lounge which was good to warm in the evening up after being in the fresh air all day. It was nice and quiet no noise from traffic. There is a good restaurant next door and a fish & chip shop next to that.

My sister and I stayed in the Grouse which is one of the pet friendly ground floor apartments. The accommodation is outstanding well presented and clean and the hot tub was superb. We were looking for some lovely peace and quiet for a few days following a bereavement unfortunately that’s not what we got. The walls are very thin which meant that at night all I could hear was the two hot tub filter systems which were on the outside of my bedroom wall, which was so bad I tried sleeping on the couch in the living room but was defeated by the noise from the boiler. The room my sister was in was no better all she could hear was the boiler which is on the other side of the bedroom wall which also services the upstairs apartment kicking in throughout the night not to mention the expelaire in the bathroom anytime anyone used it and to top it all we could hear noise from the upstairs apartment. Having booked for 3 nights we persevered for two nights and exasperated we agreed to not to stay a third as we were more exhausted than when we arrived.

What an exceptional property to stay with your four legged friend! The owners are so generous and welcoming and the photos describe exactly how the property is....just crisp in every aspect! The brekkie is just decadent delicious and features fresh local and homemade. ..so unusual. The rooms are just so pretty and so clean it puts 5* hotels to shame. If you stay or should I say when you stay book direct and book an extra night as you will not want to leave. The little extras are just lovely from toiletries to hot choc and bikkies. And the beds with Egyptian high thread count linnens and feather duvets just give you that Heavenly bed experience. PS the home made marmalade and jam.....definitely worth bringing pots home! Thank you for making us feel like your most valued and special friends!

19th Hole Hotel is centrally located within the famous golfing town of Carnoustie. All accomodation is luxurious in style and is sure to exceed the expectations of even the most discerning traveller.
Me and my friends/old colleges went for lunch today table of 8. Waited 45 mins on our food despite it being absolutely dead. A vegetarian panini tuned up with chicken in it, another panini barely any filling soggy and falling apart, uncooked noodles in the stir fry, the cheese on both the nachos and macaroni was unmelted and looked like it has come straight out a pre grated clumpy pack, stale nacho chips. The only chef on was too busy being behind the bad, clearing tables and answering phones, again despite it being dead. My fiend brought her children who also ordered food. And while them eating their desserts, said chef swanned past the table with another employee staying very loudly ‘well they certainly won’t eat all that’ in a very snide and unprofessional tone. The dirty plates were sat in front of us for at least 45 mins and when cleared only 3/4 was. We had to put the rest of them on the bar ourselves. Ordered and paid for deserts which was forgotten about for 35 mins. No empty glasses were collected and had to put on the bar ourselves. No check backs done on our food. One panini was replaced but came out all black and burnt. Basically just absolutely dreadful and used to be amazing for food. Clearly can’t handle a table of 8 so unsure why they agree. Would definitely not recommend!

Fantastic gem of a place. Staff are fantastic and welcoming. No request was an issue. Spotless from top to bottom. Dinner superb and good size portion. Wine list to compliment menu. Rooms are spotless and modern and the bed is very comfortable. This is our second time at hotel and restaurant and have loved it both times Breakfast in the morning was a full scottish. Delicious and cooked just right. Uploaded photos from both visits. Can't rate this place highly enough. We will definitely be back here.
