I really enjoyed the quality of food I received at Hubie's. Located on Main Street, the interior matches the quaint town it's located in. Wooden seats and tables, brick walls, and art that reflects the town of Middleburg. Pizza had a delicious cheese (although the dough wasn't up to NYC standards). Chicken wings were very meaty and the hot sauce was very good. Steaks were cooked to perfection (and the mashed potatoes were very creamy). The eggplant parmigiana was really good as was the baked ravioli. Only problem is that drinks are not free refill and if you order a salad, ask for the dressing on the side.

Jam packed full with wicked neat stuff. One of a kind treasures abound.Fantastic country cafe and lovely gift shop. Come explore, come eat, and come enjoy. Please Note: Our restaurant hours differ from our store hours. Please visit our website for exact hours. Thank you!
We were driving from upstate New York to Boston and just happened to stop here for lunch. It was amazingly delicious! We shared a small bowl of seafood chowder that was chock full of delicious ingredients in a savory broth. We also shared a Johnny Appleseed Salad and a Veggie Panini, both of which were just great. The service was top-notch.

Overlooking the picturesque Schoharie Valley, the beautifully renovated cafe is open daily. Enjoy a wide selection of items - from paninis, deli sandwiches, homemade soups, pizza, hot dogs, chicken tenders and much more. We also cater to student groups, tour groups, banquets, wedding receptions and more!Fabulous food! Spectacular scenery!
This is what happens when you're in the middle of nowhere and your family wants lunch. The philly cheese-steak was inedible and everything else was just average -- except the price (it was somewhat high for what we all ordered). But, unless youbring your own food, this is it!

I was amazed to find a DD at this location. The staff helped me the other morning with a large order for my crew. They were fully stocked and ready for anything coming their way. I got seven dozen mixed donuts to go. Thank you for helping me and my crew. You made our day.

I work in the Village of Middleburgh and have dined here often for lunch. The food is always fresh including seafood and is legitimate Italian cuisine and not "Italian American". The service is prompt and curteous and there are always specials. I recommend it highly.

Their menu lists their self described "famous chicken salad". So I ordered it and I must say it is not an idle boast. The sandwich was very flavorful with ample chunks of white meat chicken. It was served on a good multi-grain bread. You get one choice of a side dish. I got the chick pea salad and it was very tasty.
The service was prompt and very friendly.

Stopped here while randomly looking for a place to eat on our way to Howe Caverns. Cute little joint with a maximum capacity of 40 people according to the sign on their wall. Staff was very, very friendly and even though we were 4 hours from home, made us feel like we life long friends. My daughter had a club sandwich and I had a cup of soup and a panini. All three items were very good, and came with a HUGE portion of fresh cut fries. All food was very reasonably priced. Only small negative is that they could clean a little bit better. Looking in the corners you could see dirt and dust webs that have been there more than a few days. Make this place spotless and you have a five star café with great food. Would definitely eat here again.

Early Sunday afternoon we took the scenic route from Cooperstown & saw this classic American diner on a classic American street. Old time food and prices, fresh and delicious. Mrs K herself was helping work tables while her daughter cooked; granddaughter and well behaved great grandkids were there too. GGdaughter even pitched in to help. Two local clerics (a nun and Friar?) broke out a violin as she sang "Amazing Grace" at the conclusion of their meal. Amazing indeed! Hope to return some day. Charming place, staff and food! Also did a quick tour of this riverfront village with it's wonderful architecture and beautiful autumn foliage. Unforgettable!

If you have spent any time in northern New York State, you know what Stewart's is: a place to fuel up your car and grab some quick food and minor groceries. While the Stewart’s Shops are all pretty similar in the food/products they sell, I think the Schoharie Stewart’s is one of the cleanest I’ve ever been to and also has the friendliest service. And that is what keeps bringing me back whenever I am in Schoharie. Keep rocking it Stewart’s Schoharie.

Recently relocated and reopened in the building formerly occupied by the Sweet Thyme Cafe. Sweet Thyme closed after flooding from Hurricane Irene in Summer 2011
Schoharie is a charming town in the Schoharie Valley and is a good focal point for scenic drives and antiquing. The Country Cafe is a simple, homey spot with excellent service and food that is fresh, high quality and surprisingly varied for a small dining spot. The fresh desserts and especially the pies are a big attraction for locals but what draws me back is the selection of well constructed sandwiches like the fresh apple and Turkey that is moist and flavorful. The breakfast selection is standard country fare (eggs, hash, etc) prepared with a very personal and skillful touch). The real tip-off about the quality of the food at Country Cafe? For me it was the expertly cooked French fries and sweet potato fries and the quality of the bread they used for the sandwiches. Service is also excellent - this is a great find for a quick and high quality meal.
