We were with our kids in Weissenheuser strand and it is not possible to eat anything else than lousy food in that place. Just 3 km from Weissenheuser is this little Italian restaurant. It is not gourmet food, but it is classic dishes and all of them are well prepared. They also serve pizza´s. I got the spagetti Vongole, which was a bit different than the classic recipe but none of the less very good. Their carbonara is classic and very good, and their desserts are awesome. Try the vanilla ice with ruhmtopf.

Always when visiting Heiligenhafen we have at least one meal at restaurant Al Mare. (Earlier Ostseeblick). So also this time. We had salmon pasta and pasta dello chef (hackfleisch), both very very tasty.

Eine klassische Pizzeria mit einer guten Auswahl an schmackhaften Gerichten, die ansprechend serviert werden. Typische Speisen sind auf der Karte zu finden, die dennoch nicht 08/15 sind. Freundliches Personal und passendes Ambiente versprechen einen angenehmen Aufenthalt.Es werden drinnen und drauÃen Sitzplätze angeboten. In der Saison empfiehlt es sich, einen Tisch zu reservieren.

Unsere Essen waren schmackhaft und liebevoll angerichtet. Den Abzug gab es für die gebackenen Kartoffeln, die laut Kellnerin, auch aus der Packung stammten. Das geht wirklich besser!

Enormous portions, heavy and far off from what a pizza is supposed to be. One kilo with cheese on each pizza. The dowe was suggy and thick. The service was okay, prices low.

This restaurant certainly captures the relaxed pace of an Italian holiday. Of course, it is not in Italy, and we were not on holiday,The service is very slow and indifferent. The food is adequate, but not good. We did not get everything we ordered, but dinner had taken long enough that it wasn't worth getting missed salads.The pizzas are thin and greasy. The pastas were better. This is about as Italian as SpaghettiOs.Beware, they only take cash. You are better eating elsewhere.
