We ended up eating twice at this restaurant. Very friendly reception and service. The food was local specialties and we couldn't choose. That's why we had to go back. Was nice to be recognized as a return customer. Great value for your money.

This restaurant is one of the reasons I like Sylt. It offers friendly service and a creative touch o its menu at a reasonable price. It aint cheap but it is value for money. The menu has changing features which all sound great and at least the ones we tried were great. Try the apple soup and the lamb saussages if you can. Also the Saturday duck special seems to make everyone happy but it tends to be short in supply so better order in advance. In addition they carry never changing classics on the menu. At least the grilled fish platter I have tried and it is also recommendable. If at all it may lack a twist compared to many of the other dishes to seggregate from the competition. But that seems to be intentional for a classic - and it was very goood anyhow.... Kids can be brought and receive adequate attention. They get their food with the starters so that everyone has a better dinner experience. Grevensteiner by the keg is also worth enjoying. All in all, a must visit place in Wenningstedt.

We have been to this restaurant after a short trip via bus to Hörnum. It looked nice from the outside so we decided to give it a try. There is an outside sitting area with wicker basket chairs as well as a roofed area where it is allowed to smoke as it is outside. If you don't like the smoke, get in.The interior looked nice, similar than other places on Sylt. All looked well maintained, the toilets are cleaned on a regular basis. We had a "Currywurst" and fries each. The servings were very big for a relatively low price of 6,90 â¬. It was good, too much for us as we thought it would be smaller. Drink prices were a little higher but low compared to other restaurants in Sylt.Service was ok, didn't say that much and had a sense of dry humor. :)So I recommend for a short snack, however it seems to be full in the evenings.

Friendly, attentive (and funny) waitress - nice and relaxing atmosphere, we spent a great evening with our friends! The menu is not to big but noone had problems to find the perfect food-match.Personally I loved the tempura tuna roll as a starter which I shared with a friend. The wine menu shows - it does not always have to cost an arm and a leg, great wine and not expensive (considering the sylt-factor:-))Book a table in advance and try the daily special!

Following a recent recommendation, again by my hotel, I went to this place. Please nite that parking is limited. While waiting staff were friendly throughout, the food was only average, at best. The restaurant offers two dinner sittings: 6 and 8 pm. For starters I had chanterelles (very bland) and rösti, which was ok. For mains I ordered trout with sage sauce, potatoes dauphoinse and a salad. If you like bland food- look no further. Unfortunately, to me it's just an average eatery. I will not be back.
