The Kussmann is the latest addition to the beach bars around Südstrand (South Beach) on Fehmarn. They are located close to the western tip of Südstrand and far enough away from the ugly high-rises and tourist center at South Beach.You can come here for breakfast, lunch, cake (all-day), ice cream or an early dinner. All cakes are homemade and hard to choose from! The food is awesome as well. No matter if you go for the fish & chips, burger or currywurst or other things on the menu (vegetarian choices available) â everything is freshly made and incredible tasteful!In short: you can stay here all day, enjoy the food and be pampered from the hosts until the Kussmann closes for the day!+ home made cakes + delicious food (try the burger, currywurst or fish & chips)+ breakfast+ hosts are fun+ next to the beach+ very clean and modern facilitiesDaily from March â October until 7pm.

We were staying at this hotel for one night to get the ferry to Denmark. We had a long journey to get here and so decided to eat at the hotel restaurant. Being non-German speakers we were helped to understand the menu and the food and the service was very good. Portion sizes were large and so excellent value for money.
