Second time within a year visiting this very good restaurant. Friendly service and good food with local produce. It was nice to have space between the tables as well.

Beautiful afternoon sat in the garden. The servers were very friendly and helpful. The selection of teas was varied and really nicely presented. We all tried the tomato soup which was delicious, hot and well worth the price. The cake selection looked amazing but we only had the soup!

So I'm here on the island, visiting my in laws and I had been warned to expect to eat well. This was the best meal of the visit so far.I had the Rumpsteak, done medium rare (don't dare ruin a good steak!) Along with croquettes and broccoli. It was served with a little garlic butter and appeared to have been seared on a flat grill. It was tender and absolutely delicious!I believe its always on the menu and not to be missed!

Hidden away down a side St next to a windmill we stopped for a bite to eat. Fairly generous portion sizes, quick, friendly service and a good selection of Northern German cuisine. We had the catch of the day which was pan fried herring, super fresh, very tasty. A very cosy place.

We happened on Guten Appetit while walking around Nieblum. We thought we would just stop for a beer but stayed for dinner. First we ordered a baked cheese in tomato sauce with garlic baguettes... delicious! We followed that with the Scholle for my husband and the grilled vegetables for me. Both were excellent. The garden area was very comfortable with tables and chairs that looked brand new. Bright red blankets were draped over many of the chairs to use if the evening got colder, which it invariably does on Foehr!

Undoubtedly, a great location in a 18th century barn. However, food experience was very disappointing. Consequently, it feels rather overpriced. Service slow. Three points only due to kids friendliness.

The restaurant Altes Landhaus is in a quiet location not far from the centre of Nieblum. They offer nothing fancy but gut solid fare that is well presented and excellently cooked. Particularly fish should be regarded as their speciality and is always worth a try. Service can be a bit over-efficient (I know that sounds impossible but believe me they manage to do exactly that). Which means if you want to order two drinks, for example, â letâs say a glass of water AND a glass of wine â make sure you grab them by their shirt sleeves first and get a good grip. Otherwise theyâll be halfway back to the kitchen by the time you have finished the word âwaterâ. The restaurant is open every day except Tuesdays from 12pm â 2pm and from 6pm - about 10pm. The lunch menu is a scaled-down version of the evening menu! Recommended.

Familienbetrieb. frische Küche. eine fast täglich wechselnde Karte. Reservierung empfehlenswert. keine Kartenzahlung.
Saimons is one of the newer restaurants on the island. The concept is young and modern, with a nice, simple ambience and a menu written on a chalkboard. The cuisine is German and regional, but ambitious and with few twists. Everything we had was very nice and prefectly prepared. Nice food presentation too.The service was friendly and unobtrusive, yet efficient. Prices aren't low, but adequate, considering that the standard is much higher than in your typical Föhr eatery. All in all definitely a bright star in the dining scene, which hasn't gone unnoticed, since the place is solidly booked in season. So make your resevation a few days in advance.
