Eine hochschwangere Frau fragte höflich im Lokal, ob sie dort die Toilette benutzen dürfte. Drei Frauen im Service, eine entgegnet der Frau:"Nur für 50 Cent!" Sorry Mädels, geht gar nicht! Das Verhalten passt nun gar nicht zu dem, was dort versucht wird rueber zu bringen.

This was our first visit to Eckernförde.Well-prepared food, good-looking and served with a smile. We were a large Family coming together with a reservation made one week before and a pre-ordered 3 course dinner. We all enjoyed the place, the food, the staff and the atmosphere. Everything worked well during the evening.

Bei dieser Art von Restaurants denkt man unwillkürlich an Berge von essen mittlerer Qualität. Nun gleich das erfreuliche vorweg, dass ist hier nicht so. Natürlich wird man hier satt und die Portionen sind auch nicht zu verachten. Die Qualität von Fleisch, Gemüse und Salat ist gut. Unsere Steak Platte für 2 Personen, war super zubereitet. Selbst das Lamm- und Rindersteak war Medium gebraten. Hier weià die Küche was sie tut. Verwundert waren wir über den Preis. Das jedoch im angenehmen, wir haben nicht verstanden, wie man für so wenig Geld eine solche Qualität abliefern kann. Unser Kellner ist nett und zuvorkommend gewesen und hat einen guten Service abgeliefert. Für ein Restaurant dieser Art gebe ich gerne die 5 Sterne

wenn man einen Platz findet. Notfalls ein wenig warten, bis etwas etwas frei wird. Der Service ist freundlich und relativ schnell, wenn es möglich ist. In dem dazugehörigen Feinkostladen können Köstlichkeiten gekauft werden. Die Artikel haben jedoch ihren Preis.

Delicious dinner and friendly staff! We stopped there by chance and did not regret it at all ! The restaurant was actually fully booked: we were asked if we would mind sharing a table for four with another couple. We ended the evening chatting with our neighbours and the table beside: all were sailors and had sailed to eckenforder like us in the afternoon. A very nice way to end the day !

Vacationing visiting a long time family friend and family and had dinner here. Everyone's food was tasty, the meat dishes were succulent, cooked to everyone liking and filling, the rice served was outstanding and the service top-notch. Dessert was sweet, filling and the portions were good sized. The food, staff and price were all outstanding.The water views from our table provided a stunning sunset!

Had an excellent meal here one evening during my stay in Eckernfoerde for a conference. The restaurant is on the little main square and has a very traditional feel. Everything we ordered was excellent...soups, fish, chicken and desserts. Service was efficient and friendly. Highly recommended.

We were very happy to come back to Eckernförde and enjoy a wonderful lunch. We have lots of special memories of this restaurant and we have visited it almost in every trip to Eckernförde at the Baltic see since around 20 years. This restaurant has been transformed a lot. Kitchen was alway great, but now the menu is wonderful. We have found the classical food from the Baltic see, but several other very tasty new dishes. And the service is also marvelous. We are sure we will come back in our next visit! I just would like to recommend you to reserve your table on time.
