Very nice traditional stop in rural Germany
Reviewed By EthicalEngineersThe hotel is very nice and clean. The staff very friendly and were great with English. It’s a little off the beaten path but the area is nice. The hotel has a nice outside area and the evening meal was good (perhaps a little expensive depending on your point of view). Breakfast in the conservatory with all you need to start the day. The hotel takes card - I mention it because Germany is a little behind in accepting hard-cash alternatives. Business or short stays perfect - probably not a long stay destination though.

Restaurant is superb
Reviewed By Paul RIt’s the first time we have visited this restaurant, and the food was absolutely delicious. We live in the nearby village and will definitely return. The staff were friendly and really nice. This is a little gem of a place, loads of history and a warm friendly atmosphere. Thanks very much Paul & Family

good for a night sleep
Reviewed By Iulian PI was travelling with some friends and we arrived very late at the hotel about 21.00 o clock. Because of some problem with the credit card number the booking was not in their system and we were asked for the regular rating 60% more than the one I booked. I had to repeat the process of booking to get the correct rate but in the end all was fine. The property is somehow isolated and we were lucky that the keeper seen us outside otherwise there is no receptionist after 8 from what we were told. So if you want to get there book the room during the day or few days before if possible and notice them if you arrive late. The room was OK, sheets were clean and the hotel keeper was OK after we solved the rate situation. We were offered a nice local beer on the house and this helped in changing our initial opinion :). I did not stay for breakfast, but it was available for a 10 EUR extra charge. The free coffee which was offered in the morning from a vending machine was very bad so I would pass it. As I said in the title, if you are in the area and you need a place to sleep is OK, but I would not recommend it for a longer period.

Reviewed By NikitaLittle111Sehr einfaches Haus alte Zimmer. Eigentümer sehr launisch, kann ich beim besten Willen nicht empfehlen. Ausstattung ist in die Jahre gekommen und spartanisch. Ist zentral gelegen mehr aber auch nicht.

Hangulatos, de szereny hely
Reviewed By Eva GMar masodszor szalltunk meg ebben a szallodaban. Az arak türhetöek, a szobank nagy volt. A butorzat es a haz kisse regimodi, antik butorokat es gepeket lehet latni, romantikus. Aki szereti a regi Fachwerk-hazakat, annak tetszeni fog. Az etterem is hangulatos. Az etelek finomak. Többször szerelök is itt szallnak meg. Magyarokkal is talalkoztunk. Kutyaval utaztunk, nem kertek napi felarat erte. A szalloda a varoson kivül , föut mellett van, de jo nagy ingyenes parkoloval rendelkezik.
