Was looking forward to our meal but ultimately we were all a bit disappointed. Starters were not fantastic (Brie parcels) and our mains were tasty enough but underwhelming. My venison was fine, I’ve had worse but many better. Same was true of my friends main courses. Service was efficient but not particularly friendly or welcoming despite the place being very quiet.

Either for apres ski or a lunch break ( or dinner....) this is a very good place to go to get food and drink. It is just a few steps below the Soll gondola station and right on the skibus route. Even from the village it is only a 7-10 min walk.
Good service, language no problem. Pizzas from a wood burning oven, steaks are tasty and the salads (with steak or chicken) are a welcome change from the sauce soaked mountain restaurant salads.
Good and busy in the evenings with lots of music. For lunch or apres ski it is our favorite in Soll. I am just one of many fans it seems here on TA! If you are in Soll, you should really visit.

We come here for many years and again tge food is very good and fresh. Kewan our waiter for many evenings is very friendly. Soltan always has a big smile on his face and also very nice. You can make some changes jn you dish or add an ingedient if you like. Nothing is to much for this place. For us still a perfect place.

We enjoyed a terrific and very reasonably priced lunch at this lovely traditional restaurant before descending the toboggan run next door back down to Ellmau. The food was spot on for regional choice, excellent quality, and at very decent prices. Have a Spritz Aperol and soak in the scenery ...it doesnt get much better than this spot!

New, stunning modern restaurant in beautiful village
Adored everything about Alf da Mille. Great room, packed with happy diners, real buzz and atmosphere. Loved the menu both comprehensive well priced beverage and food options. Verconica was great hostess and attentive staff and service throughout. Really enjoyed our dinner of salad, steaks and dessert plus wines. When next in Soll, looking forward to returning.
Note : This is a busy popular restaurant, avoid disappointment and make a reservation.

Friendly, modern, high quality
The food was great, and that's all the positive things I have to say about the restaurant.
When we sat down everything was fine, but as the place filled up with customers it was obvious that the 2 waiters were unable handle the entire place.
After finishing the main course we waited about 10 minutes until the waiter came to clear our plates and we than asked for the desert manu, that took another 15 minutes or so cause she "forgot" about us (she came because I signaled her the bill sign), after looking at the Deserts and deciding it took us another 15 minutes to realize enough was enough and asked for the bill, getting the bill to another 5 minutes, and there was also a mistake in it.
To sum things up, about 30 minutes of wasted time just waiting for nothing!
This was one of the really rare occasions that me and my wife didn't leave any tip!

This is a great mountain ski restaurant above Scheffau with a very wide choice of dishes, good pricing, excellent service and a choice of well appointed Seating areas. We have tried a few different cafe and restaurants across the Ski Welt Region and we think this is one of the best.
This is our second year in succession skiing this part of the SkiWelt mountain arena. The restaurant sits just below the main Gondala up from Scheffau (Brandstadl II) on a gentle blue category piste (64). Pull over to the left of the piste, you can't miss it about half way down. You can sit inside in a well appointed, pretty area with large, bright windows overlooking the Mountains, at the bar, outside or in a sheltered area with a glass perimeter and huge parasol.
This is not a self-service restaurant. But the service is fast and, for 2017, their customer service is much better than last year. They must have been on a training course as they have a good system, working as a team, and they are very friendly. They all speak English if you struggle a little with your German language.
The menu ranges from a breakfast, light snacks, cakes, desserts and full meals. It isn't expensive and, considering the overall quality, is value for money.
Toilets are, as you would expect, clean and modern although they are downstairs so it's a trek with your ski boots but it's the same everywhere. I have noticed that the soap in the toilets seems to run out a lot when I visit so message to the team: do the loo inspection a bit more frequently and top up the soap!
We have visited a number of cafe and mountain restaurants across the SkiWelt and also the Ski Jewel areas. We think that this ranks as one of the best. You can easily incorporate it into a terrific day of skiing on the mountain for the family. It is one of our favourite places to eat and relax while skiing.
As an aside, the skiing around this restaurant is also great for beginners (not complete beginners but those who have made some progress beyond basic snowplough) and intermediates. There is a huge choice of pistes, a good lift system and they can create a proper ski experience with their extensive artificial snow cannon even when it hasn't snowed for as long as anyone can remember! Just as long as the temperature is not too high. The piste right outside the restaurant is one of the most forgiving for skiers wanting to build their confidence. And for those who are more adventurous there is the opportunity to leave the restaurant, pop your skis back on and then ski all the way down to the car park and bottom station - a wonderful experience across a varied and really long piste.
Highly recommended.

We decided to celebrate in this restaurant a birthday and we're happy of our choice. Their menu is absolutely delicious and harmonic. Service were really friendly a we enjoyed our dinner. They cooked for us also some sweet surprise for a birthday occasion. It's very expensive restaurant you should calculate with at least €100 p/P with some wine but you'll be satisfied with everything. I can recommand this restaurant for some festive occasion!

Fab food, went here for lunch after morning on the slopes and the service was average but I put that down to my lack of German but I couldn't fault their food I had a Mexican exotic burger and it was delicious, filled me up and gave me plenty more energy for an afternoon of tearing down the snowy slopes.

Happened upon this little gem whilst on a 3 hour hike in pouring rain. Given a warm welcome as we dripped our way through the door. Wonderful atmosphere delightful owner and waitress. Strudel so huge and delicious, husband must have had nearly half kilo of strawberries on his torte. Nice hot coffee followed by apricot schnapps - husband enjoyed the Weiss bier. Highly recommended !
