I visited in June 2013, and I was treated with great hospitality. The hotel room was clean, and I had a beautiful view of the large ski hill and large pond. The food at the restaurant was delicious. I usually ordered the schnitzel, but the entire menu is prepared with high quality ingredients by knowledgeable chefs. The location was perfect; it is right on the pond, so there is convenient access to paddle boats and scenic trails. The owner and his family provided excellent service in every last detail. I was even recommended a wine that was spot-on. I will be returning to this establishment in the future. Thank you, Goldner Anker for a perfect vacation.

Nicely situated at the Marketplace of the little town Adorf. Lovely traditional food and very affordable prices on food and drinks. Have a few outdoor tables, and a cosy indoor restaurant. The owners/staff are very friendly and interested, and talked With us for a long time.
We came here on 30th December at 7pm. The opening times said this restaurant is open from 9am to 10pm every day, but when we arrived we were told that they would close at 8pm - they reminded us in a very rude manner 4 more times that they would close soon. We were handed a fairly comprehensive menu, but when we were ready to order they told us we only had the choice between chicken escalope or chicken cordon bleu with fries or - well fries... they just couldn't be bothered to make anything else.Service was awful as each time they walked past us they reminded us that they were closing soon and customers were merely a nuisance. Overcharged us by 100 CZK (which I only realised when we got home) and also charged 51 CZK for a bit of ketchup and tartar sauce. In the end they refused to take card payments and insisted on cash in euros, which meant an extra 20% price increase due to their ridiculously bad exchange rate. Never again - avoid by all means!
