Owned by a Sorbian family, the menu boasts Sorbian specialties and guests are greeted with bread and salt in the traditional Sorbian way. Perhaps the best-known Sorbian fine dining establishment in Bautzen, this restaurant is defintely worth a visit.

This was a nice discovery in Bautzen were we didn't really expect anything that good. This small place offers a comprehensive offer of nicely presented dishes. Products are good, presentation is neat, service excellent. Prices in the average (although 1 euro for bread was a bit mean and probably not necessaryâ¦). Reservations in the evening seem to be advisable. Very recommended.

I have never thought that outside of Tirol one can find such great Tirolean restaurant. Until I found this stube in Bautzen. Their tiroler gruestl was absolutely outstanding. They also serve kaiserschmarrn. Waitress in traditional tirolean dress, nice interior, quiet location. Great place!
