My German wife and I visit Chemnitz about once per year and usually go to LB. Great location in the city center, cozy, excellent French bistro fare always with fresh ingredients. A pleasant crowd and setting -- "convivial" and" relaxing" come to mind. Good fish, decent wine. Took 1 star off atmosphere because the tables are a bit cramped. If you can sit outside, it works well with kids.

Ich bin ja kein Brunch-Fan, aber dieser hat sich wirklich gelohnt.Hier gibt man sich wirklich viel Mühe ein hochwertiges Mittagessen zu servieren. Es gab Rüherei, tollen irischen Lachs, super saftiges Roastbeef, Tomate-Mozarella, diverse Obstkreationen und kleine Blätterteig-Teilchen als "Frühstück", ansonsten liegt der Schwerpunkt klar auf dem Mittagessen.Es gab einen tollen Rindsgulasch, eine mediterrane Fischpfanne, Schnitzel, kleine Schaschlickspiese... Wer auf Nachtisch und Konditor-Nascherei steht, ist hier im Paradies.

A French like one you could find in France, it avoided the cliché of serving only snails and frog though keeping a traditional French cuisine. Loved it, the owner is very friendly and will guide you efficiently through the menu if you're not sure what to go for.
