Went here with family for a quick Sunday lunch. It's not a very atmospheric place and a bit spartan. It seemed to attract a more elderly customer base and there was quite lot talking very loudly and slowly by the waitresses to clarify orders... Our waitress was very pleasant and friendly. The menu was extensive with usual traditional German fare. Main courses started around 10 Euros and seemed substantial enough. We had a very good pumpkin soup, a goulash with knödel and chicken and chips from the children's menu. It all tasted good, not over salty and I'd probably go again if I happened to be there - though that is unlikely as we found WeiÃenfels to be a really quite depressing town.

Bowlingbahnen und Preise sind ok. Bedienungen freundlich. Kleine Gerichte für den kleinen Hunger gibt es auch. Lautstärkepegel am Wochenende etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Es gibt einen abgetrennten Raucherbereich und Billardtische.

Der Empfang ist schon so herzlich als wäre man gestern erst da gewesen. Die Speisen sind von lecker bis deftig gut aufgestellt und auch an die kleinsten Gäste wird bestens gedacht.

Went as a couple and didn´t have a reservation. We got seated immediately and had a little appetizer shot along with the menu.It didn´t take long before dinner was served.The steaks were perfect - the beer and red wine were good and the waiters very observant, helpful and polite.

We were 3 people and had dinner outside. The place was very busy and inside was a party going on with loud music. This was disturbing to us but we enjoyed the nice river view anyway and the food was good too. We had a trout dish, a pasta dish and matjes herring with an extra order of veggies. The food was OK, and the waitress cooperative with changes in the menu. I would go there again.

Took a pitstop here and enjoyed a well prepared dinner, served by interested and friendly waiters. No wine enjoyed so no comment on that.

Driving from Hannover to Plzen we looked for a good restaurant close to highway with typical German food and we were lucky to find this one. Excellent schnitzel with home baked potatoes. Big portions.
