Its a nature adobe, built on the principles of sustainability, with locally sourced and environmentally safe products with negligible carbon foot prints. Its a place which will let you live in harmony with nature.
The staff is the biggest attraction of this place. I had a wonderful experience at this place. The staff is very courteous and helpful. They never had no for any of our request. This is a newly constructed resort which is very neat and clean. Don’t miss the open air bath.

A beautiful 14th century fort, sensitively converted to become a Six Senses sanctuary of well-being. Originally owned by the Rajasthani Royal Family, it faces the Chauth ka Barwara Mandir temple. The significant conservation effort incorporates a palace and two temples within the walled fort. The design reinterprets the gracious and regal ambience of a bygone era dating back 700 years.
Previous day before our check-in, we got a call from Abhishek to know every little relevant thing to make our stay as satisfying one could make. Once we reached, they were there waiting outside for us to receive us just like their family was coming home. Obviously the food, spa, all the experiences were no less than awesome, but the attention they paid to every little choice of ours made us feel very special. Every staff over there considered us like their family. They shared their lives and we shared ours. The heritage and horticulture walk was also very enriching all becuase of the guide who took us. We enjoyed a lot with him too. And also with all the people who served us food. The treatment we received was mind-blowing and the experience was much beyond our expectations. Thank you so much for such an outstanding stay.

Excellent place to stay with family and friends. Very cooperative and well behaved staff. I had issues with room AC immediately room was changed. Rooms and bathroom are clean and hygiene care taken..The food was excellent, breakfast menu widespread.. Though I had booked my safari online the release of vehicles was arranged by hotel. Infact Vishal hotel manager arranged for rickshaw pickup from the station so that we don't miss our morning safari. It's Value for money. Highly recommended this hotel, been there before too as hospitality is great.

Sawai Madhopur Lodge – IHCL SeleQtions is the only heritage retreat amidst the wilderness of Ranthambore, one of India’s most renowned national parks and kingdom of the Royal Bengal Tiger. Spread over 16 lush green acres, it was built in 1930 as a hunting lodge for the Royal Family of Jaipur. Guests are ushered into this glamorous abode, with the promise of jungle adventures and princely legends. The crescent-shaped Art Deco mansion is a treat for period architecture fans, with vibrant colors, geometric lines, chequered floors and verandas. From the Jaipur coat of arms, royal portraits in the rooms and taxidermic wild animals on the walls, every detail evokes a majestic past, with the added luxury of modern amenities. The lush green grounds – home to a 100-year old banyan tree - have a swimming pool, fitness centre, spa, an organic garden and three state-of-the-art conference and banquet venues. The lodge is uniquely positioned to offer an authentic slice of local culture. Gourmands can savour the robust simplicity of khadmurg, a whole chicken smoked for hours in a coal pit, once the staple meal of royal hunting parties. Local musicians enthrall diners on the lush lawns each evening as anecdotes of Queen Elizabeth II & the Duke of Edinburg – former guests at the lodge – circulate. An unforgettable high tea awaits families/couples at Awanki Chowki, a former hunting post now converted into a spectacular dining spot overlooking the forest. The Ranthambore Safari is an opportunity to explore a fascinating forest ecosystem with trails, lakes, pre-historic ruins, ravines and the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Ranthambore Fort. The resident tigers are diurnal which assures more day sightings of these magnificent beasts than anywhere else in India. Another outstanding experience is a boat safari on the legendary Chambal River, from where guests can safely observe sunbathing gharials (native Indian crocodiles). Sawai Madhopur Lodge offers a safari vacation steeped in royal charm, where legends of adventure and indulgence come alive in a truly splendid setting.
Property location, rooms, hygiene... Activities within the property... Everything was great! Special mention to all the staff... It was service with a smile... Will definitely recommend to experience this serene property!

Ranthambhore is the world’s finest place to observe tigers in the wild, and SUJÁN Sher Bagh is the ideal base from which to explore this billion-year-old forest, with the mighty citadel that lends its name to the reserve rising majestically at the heart of it. With ruins of palaces, cenotaphs and follies dotted around the jungle, now inhabited by its wild denizens, with the tiger at the apex, it is a spectacular wildlife haven. Sher Bagh, evokes nostalgic sensibilities of life on safari during the heydays of an era celebrated for its art de vivre, living elegantly under canvas, whilst on safari. With crackling campfires under starlit skies, sumptuous Anglo-Indian repasts using homegrown organic produce, coupled with old-world service, the camp epitomises life on safari as it ought to be lived. Crackling campfires under star lit skies, naturalists to share the facts of the forest, it’s a place where comfort, style and an unmatchable commitment to conservation meet. With over 40 years experience, Sher Bagh’s guides and trackers are the best in the business. Their incredible knowledge of the park and the behaviour of its star inhabitant, the tiger, together with their passionate enthusiasm, make a stay here unparalleled.
We were just back from an early morning game drive and very excited. My wife and I and our travel friends have been on game drives at the best places in Africa and elsewhere, but what we had just seen was sublime. An hour earlier, our remarkable Sher Bagh guide, Farooq Kahn, positioned us perfectly to watch (and video) a mother Bengal tiger and her three full grown offspring walk slowly down to a stream-fed pond at the foot of a rocky cliff and slip into the water to cool-off. What made the mother and her offspring so remarkable? Two things. Seeing four grown tigers together is extremely rare. And, watching a mother bite her offspring when they approached cub-like for affection, was the kind of animal interaction that seasoned-safari goers prize. It was tough love in a tough place. In just a few months, each will have ferociously fight other tigers to win and keep territory in which to hunt and have offspring of their own. This is what their mother was teaching. During our stay at Sher Bagh we saw eight individual tigers in more than 20 separate viewings. Sher Bagh is a small jewel-like property with staff, accommodations, and hospitality as good as any ecotourism destination in the world. Farooq is as good as any guide I've ever had, and I can't compliment enough Divya and Divyashu for how they so thoughtfully made us feel at home, Jethu, for how carefully our tent accommodations were cared for, Chef Kunal for delicious meals and personally making sure everything satisfied our tastes and met our dietary requirements, and the marvelous massage at Sher Bagh's spa. Something also needs to be said about Sher Bagh's owners. When Covid hit, they didn't shut down or scale back. They supported feeding and caring for the people in surrounding communities and kept their employees and local people busy remodeling and perfecting Sher Bagh. Evidently, it was a lovely place before. Now, it's a perfection. I look forward to visiting again.

Ranthambore Bagh Palace is located at the foot of the mountain Arawali, in the beautiful pleasantly old-fashioned village Khilchipur of Ranthambore (Sawai Madhopur). It is only 15 minutes away from Sawai Madhopur Railway station and 5 minutes away from the main park entrance gate. Driving through the rural countryside gives immense pleasure as we get to see lively and beautiful guava garden. A small walk around this garden reconnects the person with nature and make that person experience moments of deep calm and peace. Ranthambore Bagh Palace, overlooks the Arawali Hills, with independent, fully-equipped and spacious rooms. The hotel ensures that our guests get quiet, pleasant and comfortable retreats in the rooms. Ranthambore Bagh Palace is surrounded by green gardens, guava trees, local plants, and flowers. The resort has a facility of swimming pool (for adults and children) with indoor and outdoor dining area.
I chose bagh suite room because it has one single bed alongwith a double bed. This is what I wanted for our family with 2 kids and did not wanted extra mattress on the floor. Got the room and beds as expected, staff was very helpful in trying to make us comfortable there. As we visited in peak summer with outside temperature soaring to 46+ degrees the single AC installed in the room was not able to cope up. This was the only issue there. Also, the toiletries supplied were like a basic 1 star hotel. (Small medimix soap for hand wash, bath and local small pack of shampoo bottle) Food in the restaurant is very good, we had breakfast, lunch and dinner on various days. One day on our request they also packed parathas and bread toasts before our morning safari which was a very nice gesture. We requested towels multiple times and were provided as needed. We did not dare to use other amenities of the hotel like swimming pool or open areas due to summer hence can't comment about them. All in all, very good hotel except there AC for peak summer and toiletries supplied.

Regency made me to change my benchmark for selecting properties for future trips any where in India. It has become my benchmark now. From front desk to restaurent excellent service. Allocated a room till the time our cottages gets ready to check in a good gesture. Every staff member always ready to help and serve with a smile. Restaurent manager, chef and other staff made sure we enjoy food and service. Never came across so many variety for buffet. No negative points. Pool side cottage is recommended.
