This is one of those little town joints that have been there forever and you hear about it from a friend kinda place. You always feel welcomed by the owners and their Pizza is Fantastic ALL the time! It's a small dining room so get there early or wait your turn.

If you are coming for the Friday Fish Fry - come early if you want perch, as they ran out by noon. We had the fried cod which was delicious. Located walking distance to Lake Michigan, bakeries, a meat market and the Duluth Trading Company.

The Saukville Dairy Queen is just off I-43. This is a great stop for a qick bite on the road between Milwaukee or Chicago and Green Bay, Door County, or Michigan's UP. The service is quick, it's spotlessly clean, and the staff friendly and efficient. We often stop at DQ's all over America, but this is our favourite of them all. This place gives fast food a great name! Of course the ice cream is wonderful. Recommend you check it out.

This place has a meal for anyone and food is ample and homemade. Staff is great and efficient. Breakfast omelets and wraps are my favorite. Parking ample. Beer and wine available.

We moved from the UK to Milwaukee, and on our first trip to Port Washington today - stumbled into this place. Lovely decor and feel, with an awesome menu. Service was quick and pleasant and it was very clean too, despite how busy they were...MoreThank you for your kind words! I am so happy you found us and hope you will enjoy many future visits to both Port Washington and Daily Baking Company!

We were passing through this town and stopped at this place for lunch. My husband had a Smoked Salmon Wrap with chips and I had a small Grilled Cheese Panini with tomato and chips. Both sandwiches were very tasty. Since I was paying extra for the tomato, I expected a little more of it. The chips were sea salt kettle chips that we liked. My husband also had a Lakeside Latte that he enjoyed. Had to wait a bit for the food. Liked the industrial-look interior.

We order delivery from this wondetful restaurant frequently and the food is always exceptional! Their pastas, fish fries, steaks, chicken piccata, shrimp scampi, cappellini or woth alfredo - always excellent! You will not be disappointed!

This is another local hang out and has delicious pastries. The place is relatively small but very relaxing. If you want to take out coffee and pastries you can, but it's very relaxing to sit and have a meal in this quaint coffee shop.

I was only visiting this quaint American town for one night so we had to choose our restaurant carefully as they only had one chance to impress us and it was a EPIC fail. How it is the number one restaurant on trip advisor for that area, I’ll never know. Strike one- my dad’s order was incorrect... strike two they refused to sell my mom a fruit cup even though they were sitting there (they were only for the special)... and strike three the eggs on my meal were undercooked.... and a bonus strike number 4 the special of the day was sitting on the counter (which had eggs in it- which just violates so many health code laws) so this restaurant was a strike out!!!! The one highlight was the hash browns were delicious and the parts of the meal I could eat were well done. Better luck to the next guest....

Baltica Bistro offers healthy, gourmet breakfast and lunch (fresh soups, quiches, salads and sandwiches that are made from scratch), our own delicious artisan desserts, a large selection of high quality loose leaf teas (served hot or cold), French Press coffee.
This restaurant sounded and even looked like it would be delightful, but we were disappointed. First of all service was SOOOO SLOOOOW. We had the special--half sandwich, cup of soup, and salad. We waited at least 45 minutes!
It was a cool, beautiful day outside, but the AC was cranked to the max so that we were shivering almost from the get go. At least the vents were in the floor and we were able to cover the one next to our table.
The carrot soup was so bland. We almost emptied the salt shaker to make it palatable. The half-sandwich was actually good, but it was essentially half of a Turkey sandwich. The salad was way too sweet.
I felt the price was high for what we received.
