Things to do in Maple Creek
Homestyle deli & convenient store. Come in for nutritious, delicious and convenient homestyle meals!
We arrived late in the evening. After checking into our hotel, I called to order a pizza - a large Maple Creek special. The fellow was very obliging building us a pizza with more stuff on it than the crust could hold. Provided snack for later on in the journey.
Jimmy's Kitchen is a new place to eat in town (Day 2) in an old location that has been revamped. It had some new items to try on the menu that were very tasty....Honey Butter Fried Chicken & Waffles.....they are a winner! They also have a good sized menu that includes burgers, tacos, pizza, panzerotti and fried chicken. As it is brand new still taking a bit of time to get things organized but the staff were great, and the new owner is very personable.... Look forward to trying other menu items in the near future.
The only sandwiches offered were premade egg, crab, or ham on croissants. This place is definitely no deli. There was a large assortment of macaroons and two brownie looking squares. Without some breads like cinnamon buns or scones and cakes or cookies, it is not much of a bakery either.

Caroline's Drive-In may look unassuming and humble, but don't be fooled! The food is plentiful and tasty. And I don't think that it's a secret - the place was hopping! I ordered the fish and chips - lots of perfectly prepared fries and yummy fish. My sister had the taco burger and gave it a good review. My friend, who has gluten allergies, ordered a shake. It isn't a place for a lot of gluten free options...Ambience was fun and homey. Service was fine considering how busy the place was.

This restaurant is not only attractive on the outside, but very charming on the inside, with friendly staff and very tasty (and large) portions of food! I don't think you can find a more affordable meal in this town, and it was very delicious. Their daily special came with soup, the entree and dessert and it was all for under $10! Absolutely worth visiting!

Ivan's is a nice dinning room, and our server Jordyn was charming. The wines on the list are inexpensive. The salad we shared was good. My wife enjoyed her seafood thermadour. I really disliked my chicken cordon bleu, in which the chicken had been flattened and rolled with ham, coated and fried. The chicken had a nasty, foul, taste and smell, as if it was not at all fresh. My dessert, saskatoon berry pie, was just okay: the crust was somewhat damp and the filling needed to be a bit more sweet. It seemed as my chicken dish and my dessert had perhaps both been frozen and thawed. Perhaps Ivan's should have a simpler menu.

We came here with 2 other families on a day trip. The waitress was terrible...... would not wait on us and our kids, not friendly, no apology for her poor service, didn't even acknowledge us. Took orders & served 2 other tables without kids before us. The one couple came in to the restaurant 15 minutes after us. Food looks good but we are still waiting to get it.........

We serve espresso, cappuccino, latte and other hot and cold drinks, as well as fresh baking and light lunch options. We also have hard-to-find fine groceries (think truffle oil, ponzu, dried wild mushrooms) and giftware which reflects our homey, heritage-
There is a very interesting collection of coffee and kitchen gadgets to see while waiting for your coffee. The server was indifferent, almost like thank God the long weekend is over.I would suggest asking for 1/2 sweet drinks as ours were very sweet and sugar can always be added after.Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We appreciate your comments . We share a our reviews with the team and work to constantly improve. Enjoy your day!
