Bar, high top or linen cloth tables for seating, also limited outside seating. Wonderfully creative menu! We enjoyed steak sandwich, signature Lobster Bisque and special spinach roasted beet salad with Yummy homemade pink grapefruit dressing. Quaint and friendly, good wine and cocktail list. Stone Brewery on tap pleased my husband. Out of the way North of Pittsburgh, but worth the ride on a beautiful day!

I have had shurinas pizzas in the past and they're always so good. The cheese pizza I had last night was awesome. So much better than the commercial pizza joint. Also, the pretzels are amazing too.

I really want to like Evolution Grille; it'd be great to have a local restaurant that stood out. Every few months I decide I'll give it another try but after every trip I'm reminded how I'm disappointed when I go there.
On my most recent visit I ordered a fish dish, one of their daily specials. As is usually my experience the concept here typically is better than the execution. The meal sounded appetizing but the result was an overcooked piece of dry chewy fish that was not impressive at all. I was even more upset with my meal choice after seeing the price of the special was $27 which would have been reasonable if the quality of the food had been better.
For the price I would have thought that a salad would have been included with the meal but it was not. I also saw on the menu that their is a charge if you would like additional bread and there is also a glass charge if you bring your own wine.
Consistently my meals here are average but I think you should expect more than average from a restaurant like this. I also think it's reasonable for the price that something like a salad is included with an entree. As much as I wanted to like this place I just can't and will look elsewhere for a local go-to restaurant.

Family Owned and Operated Since 1991. We cook for our customers like we cook for our family, because everyone is family. Stop in and have dinner with us!!!
I eat at Capri approximately twice a month. In the past, I would not describe the wait staff as friendly. However, tonight we had a wonderful waitress and another staff member was very attentive to any refills that were needed.
I do not care for their meat sauce for I find it quite boring. Their Bolognese sauce is another story. I do not deviate from their spaghetti with Bolognese sauce so I can only comment on that entree. Their bread is absolutely wonderful and the wedding soup is delicious. The portions are large, so much so that I ALWAYS bring home half the soup and half the spaghetti.
The restaurant is on the small side and the atmosphere is very comfortable. It is the perfect choice for this ridiculously cold weather!!

Nice to have a D.Q. nearby. Milkshakes, cones, and blizzards are always a yummy treat. The young people who work here are always pleasant and most efficient. I never have to sit in the drive-thru for more than a few minutes. Only went inside once, and it was very clean.

We had never been to Freeport, so we called upon tripadvisor to guide us to a lunch spot. Job well done. This is a small cafe with seating for about 16 people. They are open for breakfast and lunch only. The menu has a variety of luncheon items to choose from.
My wife and I both selected the daily special, ham quiche with a cup of wedding soup. Both were delicious. There was a table of desert options just begging us to order, so I felt obligated to partake. I ordered a piece of apple pie with ice cream, of course. It did not disappoint. We also left with a bag-full of cookies and scones for future consumption. As it turns out, they didn't even survive the trip home.
After the meal we had the opportunity to speak with Pat, the owner. She is a transplant from Cape Cod and is very personable. She takes pride in preparing delicious, home-made food from scratch and she does it very well.
If you're ever near Freeport for any reason, take the opportunity to visit this establishment. I know we'll be back.

Batch is a small shop that specializes in "small batch" foods and other handmade items and plants. Jams, Jellies, Soups, Fresh breads, other specialty baked goods are all things we create on different days of the week. We pride ourselves on using produce and meats sourced as locally and as in season as possible. Being green along the way. Stop in sometime to see what we are cookin' up!
We get soups and bread here regularly and they never disappoint! This is one of Saxonburg's hidden gems.Thank you! It means so much that people like what we do! Local, fresh, and healthy(for the most part) we strive to give people the best possible experience! Thank you!

On Sunday there can be a line. The Belgium waffles were terrific. They make REAL, not instant oatmeal. Wait staff keeps filing the coffee cup as you wait for your food. Very pleasant.

Wolfies has a couple of locations in the north Pittsburgh area. This one is in the town of Freeport. There aren't many food choices in Freeport, but this spot is the best place for a pizza. Toppings are plentiful. The pepperoni pizza is my favorite. They also serve baked wings which are good but a little different than what you might expect. This is for two reasons. The first is that they are located in a building connected to other buildings including apartments so they cannot have a fryer, but the owner has used this to his advantage. Instead, he has created several foods that taste almost like the fried foods such as wings, mushrooms and fries, by baking them. Using his secret process, they turn out just as good and they are much healthier than the fried options. If Pizza and wings aren't your thing, the subs are very good and many are also oven baked/toasted. My only complaint is that prices are a bit too high for the area but the food quality is outstanding so it's a trade off. Because of the high prices, we don't get their pizza as often as we'd like. There is a very small seating area for eating in (including a table or two outside) but overall this is a take out place. Freeport has a park two blocks away with some nice benches along the river - we've sometimes got a pizza and subs and sat along the river to eat.

There were 9 of us on a thursday 5pm. Waitress was overwhelmed. My meatballs were barely warm along with the french fries. My husband ordered salmon and after everyone got their meal the waitress came back saying no salmon...so he had to order something else while we were already finishing our dinners. One guy had to ask three times for his wine. Overpriced also.
