Recommended by a friend who lives in Miri, although we walked passed it many times before...Very popular with the locals which is good...We went Saturday night so the place was pretty busy. But the food was worth the wait cos they were quite good......Price was reasonable too...
Must tried the local food when in Miri. The food serves are simple and delicious recommended by the lady waitress. Our orders are kuching laksa/kolo mee mixed/pan fried dumplings/herbal kway teow soup mixed/kolo mee with braised chicken feet, must come again next time.
This place is tricky to find.It is in a square, tucked behind Jalan Boulevard.Easiest entry to the square is from the Boulevard shopping mall along the service road toward Miri and turn right after Proton/Chevrolet dealer and before Maxis shop.Plenty of parking once you have found the square & the restaurant. The restaurant is clean and newly opened a couple of months ago.A busy place to eat, which is a good sign. The staff are helpful & friendly. The menu concentrates on "Bak Kut Teh" type dishes. For the uninititiated this is a stew made with meaty pork ribs and herbs.Tasty, inexpensive and enjoyable with many choices on the menu.

On one end of the hotel of the same name. Excellent food, although service can be lacking if you come during busy hours and you are not Chinese.

A must stop whenever arrive early in Miri..Popular and high turnover hence the food is freshalways crowded during weekend yet the service is fast and pleasant. Because it is always full, be ready to hover over occupied tables and to be hovered upon when u almost done. price is above average and all worth it

It is a local market rather than an tourist point to see, with chinese market nearby, central market is located next to the Miri Bus hub, you wont miss it while heading towards westerly to Bintulu or Kuching, local food court, fruit market and handcraft lots are found there on a daily basis. Groceries and cigarette retailers are also present. Worth a visit starting your day with KO LO MEE, a traditional malaysian chinese breakfast noodle served dry with BBQ pork chops.

Virtually opposite the Miri Marriott. There are two venues, this one and the New Tanjung Restaurant. Both do great chinese food. Seating both inside and outside. Quick service, great food and cheap.
Been here a few times to this basic Chinese Seafood restaurant near Marriott Resort at Miri. Really great service and fabulous food. Try the Middin Fern with garlic. This is a green veg and alternative to kangkung. Itâs a local veg and truly delicious. The local caught Seafood is the best. The Red Fish and the prawns are so fresh and superbly cooked. Device is attentive. Price is very affordable. Highly recommended.

Located in Pelita Centre, this place can be found quite easily. Have been to many dimsum paces and this one is ok. Nothing to shout about, decently ok. Average. Muslim friends will be happy to know it is Halal, ie no pork in the dimsum. Chicken used instead of pork, and IMHO that kinda makes dimsum taste different. Not necessarily bad but some may not like it.Have a go, check it out.
