Despite contacting the hotel and explaining the situation, they refused refund, so I ended up paying 200€. I had no control over the isolation situation, obviously and they refused rescheduling and total refund. I will not book again.

We stayed at Naturarte Rio and it was amazing, so peaceful and had an amazing three days here with my family. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. Very comfy bed, amazing breakfast hamper every morning and beautiful walks nearby with lovely views. The staff couldn’t be more helpful and friendly?. We will be back!

We are a tiny and cosy farm in S.Luís, Odemira, where your holidays will be more than just killing time away from home. Surrounded by wonderful landscapes, and just only 20 minutes from the beaches of Vila Nova de Milfontes, we will be here to offer you and your family a quiet ambience.
Stayed with another couple in the suite. Great facilities - two good sized bedrooms, well furnished lounge area plus everything that you could need in the kitchen. Breakfast impressive. Views stunning. The pool was continually used, again superb countryside views plus the added excitement of swallows dive bombing you. Carlos plus his staff so accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable. A great place to chill and relax. A most impressive place.

Disclaimer: this is a review of how the deposit is handled by the owner and problematic access to "Casas de Cerca". It is not a review about the property itself. - First of all, be advised that the owner will demand an advance deposit of the 50% of the cost of the stay and there is no cancellations or refund policy, which means you will never recover it. - Do not try to reach to the property if you don't have a 4x4. The owner will provide you with maps that look ok at first but are insufficient once you find yourself in a maze of mountain roads. - The property owner will insist 4x4 are not necessary but remember that if you have an incident with your (rented) car on a mountain road, no insurance company will cover it. - There is no telephone signal in the area so contacting the owner, as she suggests, to be guided to the property is pretty difficult. You will need to try a land line in one of the bars of the village. - Do not expect to find signals that indicate the directions to the property. There aren't any. The owner wants to keep the house's secret as part of their charm. Based on our experience, she achieves this pretty well. Due to the above circumstances we went through some very unpleasant situations and were not able to find the property. The distress caused made us not to try to go back again. If you dig in social media, you will find people in similar circumstances ours.
